I was at an indoor swimming pool, the pool was enormous with a surface area of atleast 6 football
fields. The water was crystal clear cerulyan blue and I could see large aquatic animals as darker
shapes against the light blue water deep down. There were people playing and swimming in the water
so I joined them.
As soon as I got into the water I was sucked down thousands of feet below the surface in an instant. I
looked below me and the water was crystal clear with absolutely no bottom in sight. I looked around
me and noticed huge whales and other strange creatures swimming around. I was terrified, and then
even more terrified as I realized that all of these animals could sense my fear and I thought that might
trigger them to attack me. In a panic I tried swimming up to the surface but no matter how hard I
kicked or pushed I couldn't move. I sucked in a lung full of cool water and started to choke, untill I
realized that it didn't kill me. It actually felt so good, and my fear and panic washed away to leave me
feeling a euphoric happiness.
I took in my surroundings and noticed all of the different species of whales swimming around. There
was an enormous humpbacked whale, and a sperm whale swimming peacefully and rhythmicly. And a
family of beluga whales that looked at me with approving, knowing glances as if to say "Ahhhh, she
finally understands." And I did, for a brief moment, I knew everything and understood everything. It
was more than happiness, it was a feeling of complete and utter balance with all things in the universe.
It was an answer to a question that I didn't even know how to ask or begin to look for. I stood on the
precipice of cosmic balance.
As quickly as it came it was gone, but the loss didn't make me sad, because as soon as it was gone I
forgot that it even existed. I am completely unaware of my own ignorance once again. The only thing
left of the experience is a subtle subconscious feeling that everything is okay, and everything is as it
should be..... always and forever. All things good, all things bad, all things that I don't understand are
as they should be.
I bobbed back up to the surface like a submurged rubber ball, and as my head broke the surface I
noticed that all of the people in the pool were fighting and angry. I said "Shhhhhh, don't you realize
that there's a baby beluga whale right beneath you and it can sense your anger?!!". Then we all looked
down and saw the whales smiling up at us.
