I have often wondered if what happened in the first dream -- the man going into hibernation for 30 years -- is something that actually occurs in the psychology of many people. In fact, I wonder if I haven't done it myself to some degree! I think a person can get used to not "using" all the parts of his or her personality, and the people around this person grow accustomed to it as well. I feel like in some ways I have put into hibernation the more emotional parts of myself. Thanks for dreaming about this, it's going to help me, I believe ... this is a good time for me to think about this subject!

Hi, I like what you said and I think you are right, in my case at least the dream character going into hibernation for 30 years could be seen as something of a perfect analogy to my own life. I’m really glad that my dream managed to help you out, your comment has been equally helpful to me too and has helped clarify my own ponderings on the dreams meaning, cheers!

It is really something that is very interesting to think about. We turn off parts of our own personalities, and the people around us get so used to things being this way that we then let these parts go into sort of a hibernation -- and the expectation from our friends that these parts will make an appearance again gradually dwindles away. Wow ... I'm actually quite staggered by the implications of this line of thought!
