Sweet Shop Party
I had a group of friends who loved to give me makeovers because I wasn’t the kind of person to dress up girly as I always wore band t-shirts and jeans. One of my friends Dad invented Nestle chocolate and the shop which he owned was having a party so we all decided to go. This excited the girls because this gave them another chance to give me a makeover. I had a purple corset and a matching long skirt so I decided to wear that. They did my hair so it was really thick and I had a large metal frame under my long skirt so that it puffed out. I actually looked beautiful and my hair looked amazing.
The party was quite fun as we were all just hanging around the shop socialising and pinching the odd sweets and chocolate. However, during the party was some bad news, my mate’s dad who invented Nestle, had died suddenly which meant the party was ended. People were really upset about the sad news so we took some nestle sweets and chocolate as a memory.
When we walked out the building, we noticed it was light outside. When me and my mates walked down this path, we looked really cool and it was like we were ready to go out for another party in the way we looked and walked.

University Challenge
For the main assignment in the second year of university, was a huge challenge. We had to get into pairs so I had joined up with my boyfriend Garry and we were each given a list of things that we could choose to do for the challenge. It was quite a long list but we only had to pick one. At first I was going to go to a nightclub dressed as a guy but when I got changed into guys clothes and walked outside, I got nervous and changed my mind and didn’t do it so instead on chosen to go on a vegan diet for a week which was probably the easiest one as I was a vegetarian.
Finally, the main day had come for the final challenge. Instead of going to university, we had to go to this huge hall instead. There was a huge team of purple and another huge team of light blue. I was a part of the purple team while my mate Chris was a part of the light blue team. It was like a politician challenge where you each team proposed ideas to improve the university and then in the end everyone had to vote. Me and Chris were constantly arguing over which team was better.
At the end of the challenge and when all of the votes had been registered. It turned out that the purple team had won. I was so happy and was laughing right in Chris’s face. All the people that were a part of the purple team were jumping around everywhere in joy. It was crazy. However, I ruined everything because a load of people from the light blue team came up to me and started talking to me and I accidently slipped out that I liked the star that was on the blue teams t-shirt. The whole hall went silent after I said that.
Chris jumped up in joy and started hitting me playfully and calling me all these names. Because I had said I like someone of the light blue team, they won. They instantly won and now the room was full of cheer from the blue team and people of the purple team were stood frozen in shock not knowing what the hell happened. I couldn’t believe it and I felt so stupid for saying that. Thomas who was my lecturer for this subject patted me on the back and told me everything will be alright. I was well gutted and worried that people on the purple team would never speak to me again. I just went on a computer and started doing some work.
