Toxic Air

I was on holiday with the university. It was the most beautiful place I had ever seen. We were out in the forest right by the sea staying in large cabins. We had our own cabin each which was cool. Next to these cabins was a large supermarket that sold everything from chocolates to electronics. In the day we were out on boat trips and walks along the forest and then in the night we would either go on a large shop or go clubbing which was also next to our cabins.

In this large super market, they did tattoos and piercings. I recently had a tattoo on my chest which was a black rose and I really wanted another tattoo so I decided to check the place out and look at the designs in these leather books that they had. There were two tattoo places but one of them would shut really early.

As I was walking around the place, I noticed that my parents were here and they were talking to a really fit young guy. He was amazing. He said such lovely hair and he was dead cute. I went up to them and spoke to them and they introduced me to him. He worked at the cabins and he owned the one at the end with a huge garden.

The next day, I decided to get a tattoo done. The first shop was yet again closed early so I went to the other one. There was this really nice design that I saw. They were small stars that went on your arm so I decided to have that done. As I was about to have it done, my parents came. My dad sat down next to me.

‘You’re getting a tattoo done?’ he asked, not seeming very happy about this.

‘Yep’, I said sharply.

They both just sat there and watched while I was getting my tattoo done. I didn’t watch half the time because I didn’t like the needle so I just looked around. Eventually, when I did look, I was horrified. The stars looked nothing like they were in the book. These stars were huge and it covered the whole of my arm. It looked like I had a sleeve at the bottom of my arm. I was not happy and now I had to have that for the rest of my life. Also, it cost me £300 which took a lot out of my money for something that I didn’t like. I was not happy.

I started crying then passed out. My parents and the fit guy they were friends with took me back to his place and lay me down on the sofa. I wasn’t feeling too good at all but then they both left. I was lying on the sofa in a strangers place all on my own. I didn’t like this at all so I got up and took a look around. He came back and asked me how I was feeling. I told him I was fine but gutted that the tattoo didn’t go as great as I thought it would but he told me that he knew someone who could take the tattoo off. I got excited and told him I could really do with that.

I decided to go back to my cabin. I noticed that there was a woman who was staying at the cabin next to me. She had given me such a funny look. I went in my cabin and was about to settle down when I heard a loud noise outside. I went outside and it was Kate and Sally setting fire to a load of chocolates. I noticed that there were loads of people running around in the supermarket so I decided to go in and check out what’s happening.

Everyone was running around stealing stuff. There were trolleys of chocolate and all sorts. I decided to join in and steal some stuff. I found some chocolates that I really liked but didn’t know whether to have them or not as I was planning on not eating chocolate until Easter and was still a few months off. I stolen some cake instead and started eating that then thought stuff it, I will steal some chocolate. When I ate it, I felt bad because I broke my pact. I went outside and everyone was setting fire to their chocolate so I decided to join in. Suddenly, the environment changed. There was a massive explosion in the back ground. The air around us felt weird. Me and a few other people quickly jumped into a car and drove off. As we were driving, every place was on fire. The air was thick with smoke.

There was this huge spaceship so we quickly went onto that. When we went inside, the air felt better. We could breathe better. We were told that due to the amount of chocolate people were setting on fire, it turned the air toxic so that we could no longer breathe in the air or else it could kill us.

We were on our way to Mars while the earth was on fire. On this spaceship were people who were from Mars. They looked exactly like humans but were different. I can’t remember how but we were advised not to sleep with any of them. These people were very dominant too so to annoy them could be fatal. I decided to look about the spaceship. I couldn’t tell who was human and who wasn’t. There was this one could walking along the corridor. Apparently the women was not human but they were so in love with each other, they didn’t care. The other non human people did though and they caused a fight. While the guy was fighting with all these people, he didn’t care if he died as he was fighting for the one he loved. The women could see his love for her so she managed to stop it all.

Suddenly, there was an announcement; we all had to go to this main room so the main guy of this spaceship who was from Mars could speak to us about Earth. The couple who I had seen were walking behind me. The women realised how dangerous it would be if this guy had seen them together so she jumped off the bridge. The guy was screaming and shouting as he was really upset. Before the main guy could talk, the guy asked him if he could try and save the woman. The main guy just nodded and went on to talk to us. Us humans had to go back to Earth and try and clean it up.

The spaceship landed on earth and we had to go outside. However, due to the toxic air, we had to wear oxygen masks. We were taking into a building where our new classes would take place. We were going to be taught how to look after the earth. It was better when we were inside of the building because we could take our oxygen masks off. 

School Reunion

School Reunion

There was a reunion at my school so I decided to go. There was a disco on and you could go on Karaoke and everything. It was brilliant. Me and some other mates decided to get up and sing, we decided to do Phantom of the Opera by Nightwish and we was going to do another one near the end of the night when we were a little bit drunk. It was weird seeing everyone again from so many years ago and it was amazing how everyone had changed so much and people were shocked at how much I changed.

I used to be a dorky fat girl that changed into a Goth girl with long black hair, miniskirts and platforms. I loved my platforms and worn them all the time and decided to wear them to the reunion as they made me look taller. Problem was, I was falling over all the time and it didn’t help when I started drinking and got a little tipsy, I was constantly on the floor.

It was my year head Mrs Woods that was serving behind the bar and she was shocked to see me. We had a little chat about alcohol and singing and I had a large bottle of WKD Blue as I loved the stuff.

Later on that night, I had a lot of drinks and was very drunk. My mate backed out on singing so I decided to sing on my own. I sang a Lady Gaga song. When I got off the stage, my old best mate Casey was all jealous and because of how drunk I was, she pushed me over and rolled me up in a huge red carpet and left me there. I started to panic really bad and fainting. It wasn’t until a couple of days when Mrs Woods found me but I was still unconscious so she called over Craig who was my lecturer at college.

I eventually woken up but couldn’t breathe very well due to being trapped in a carpet so Craig had to carry me to a wheel chair and given me and oxygen mask. Suddenly, everyone was screaming outside so Craig rushed us out outside to see what was going on. There was this huge lizard like creature on top if this building and it was sending out blue beams at people which instantly disappeared. In order to hide, we hid under the wall and stayed very quiet.

Eventually, the lizard type creature flew off and I got a chance to look at the full size. It was huge. I was glad I had an oxygen mask because I didn’t know how on earth I would survive without it. I managed to speak and we were discussing what we saw and what it just did. Everyone was too shocked to move. We were planning to go to the tower which was just across the street but the screams come back and there was a thud from the building we were right next to. The monster had come back but this time, it had seen us and shot blue beams at us. Craig and Mrs Woods disappeared but for some reason, it made me better. I no longer needed an oxygen mask and I could use my legs which meant I could run.

I said thank you to the creature and then made a run for it. At first, it just stared at me but then it started to follow me. I decided to run to the tower as I thought it wouldn’t be able to get in. I got in, and shut the door and ran all up to the top. There was a small hole but no window and when I looked, all I seen was a huge eye staring at me, I screamed and went to run down the stairs but heard a huge bang. I stood still for a while, and then started running down the stairs.

As I ran down the stairs, I saw the huge creature crawling up them staring at me with those huge eyes. I went to run up the stairs but then it grabbed my leg. I never felt so scared in my life.

Swimming Pool Assignment

Swimming Pool Assignment

It was the second year of university and I decided to move into an accommodation as it was difficult to get to Birmingham everyday from Sedgley and the trams and trains weren’t very reliable. When I unpacked all my things, I decided to go in the kitchen and see who else was in my dorm. I seen Harvey, my classmate in there and also, Kathy was in there too.

‘I didn’t think lecturers stayed in student accommodations, I thought it was just for students’, I said.

‘No, lecturers can stay in them too’, she said.

It felt weird having her living with us but during the term, me, Harvey and Kathy were close and we were hanging out in each other’s room all the time. I felt lucky to have Kathy living with us as she gave us extra help for assignments which meant that me and Harvey were doing really well for university.

One day a week, we had a class which took place in a swimming pool and Kathy would join us. It was pretty fun but the week where we had to do this assignment in the pool, I wasn’t feeling too good. Kathy was explaining what we had to do, how we had to do some laps then get out the pool we had to do it again. I didn’t have a clue how this would help us in the future but we had to do it. Kathy swam with us a bit then she went out the pool and we had to start.

I swam some laps then it was time to get out the pool, as I got out the pool, my stomach hurt a lot and I leaned against the wall and crouched down. I was in agony. Kathy went up to me to see what was wrong and she said that I would be fine and should carry on. We had to go in this other room, do something which I didn’t have a clue about and then get back in the pool for some more laps. When I got into the other room, my stomach was hurting that much, I collapsed onto the floor.

Kathy shouted to someone ‘Go and get somebody, quick’. She ran to me to see if I was ok. I was in agony, I couldn’t see myself doing the laps so I was sent to my room and was told that when I am better, I would have it do it all over again another day. I was not looking forward to that.
