I watched as a large duck walked gingerly through a swampy field. The webs of it's foot were folded together like an umbrella and it was using the middle stem much like a ballerina's toe shoe.From high above I saw two fast moving bodies cutting through thick green algae. I heard a male voice describing their speed and movements. I thought they were air boats at first, until I came lower and lower and saw they were actually two swans, male and female. I was amazed at their speed and grace.
