I was planning a thriller for fun and was scouting out some woods as a location. I think I had the cast there and stuff but had wandered off. My cousin Ben was playing one of the key scary characters. I was on a road going up a hill through the woods, and I got out my camera to film, but it wasn't a film camera, just a digital photo camera. Very annoying not to have the right equipment, but I started filming anyway. I went along the road looking through the viewfinder and tried to do some artistic racking shots and things even though I was walking. I ended up following two animals, a fox and a cat, as they were chasing each other up a hill and things. I ended up running back down the hill filming and bursting into the dingy pub where Ben was sat. He didn't know I was filming but I approached him from low down anyway.
After I turned off the camera we talked for a bit and I showed him my footage but he didn't seem impressed, although I was happy with the experience as a whole of being out there and practising my filming techniques. It wouldn't have made a good thriller...
