I was at the dining room table working on something (except I was at the side facing the kitchen, instead of the side facing the window). I was eating churros and giant pretzels. It was very late at night, but at some point Grant and his friends (including Blake Hacker, Patrick Russell and Jay Marshall) all returned home from some adventure. Though I tried to hide it, they still managed to get some of my food, and were vaguely interested in my project.
Later, Grant and I were at some National Park place, which seemed to be serving as a government refuge from something. I wanted to get something, as was planning on walking or using some strange form of transportation, but then Grant appeared and told me that he had a car. Apparently mom was friends with Roxy (my old godmother) again and Roxy had given him a little car. As we were leaving the trail, I saw Prof. Trommler on his way in. I didn't try to talk to him since he didn't seem to notice me, so I pretended not to notice him. As we walked across a field to get to the car, some UFOs went over head. Apparently this is part of what we were hiding from. I was more amused than anything, and wondered if any humans had made a man-made version of the stereotypical UFO yet. When we got to the car, there was a family of girls there, and it didn't seem so much like we owned it. Apparently we needed to change for some event that we were going to. I was in a sexy mood, so instead of changing when we got there, I felt like changing right in public. Eventually I decided to go somewhere where there was light coverage so I didn't seem to immodest. At this point I needed to pee, so I went over by a bbq pit and began to go. Meanwhile, some park ranger guy was in the midst of giving a tour and saying bad things about peeing in the wilderness and, noticing me, he hopped off the trail and came all the way over to where I was (looking at me and my nakedness) to tell me off for doing it in the wrong place. He then went back to his tour. At some point I met the people of the tour, who were all high school female Muslims, many of whom were Asian. They were debating about whether dressing a certain year would qualify them as "New Fifth Years" or something, which they didn't want to have happen. At some point I see a poster for "The Ladies club at HMC". Apparently it currently consists of Prof. Cassidy, Carla Iwata and Grace Daggett. They sit in a circle and drink tea, naked. I want to join but it seems sort of exclusive, and might even count for class credit.
At some point the dream shifted into more of a movie. There was a girl about my age, and her father was dying. Her father loved her and his family very much, but wanted to die alone. Problem : most of the family was living in the house. At some point the girl meets a wonderful outdoorsy park ranger type, who courts her well and proposes to her. The father is now on the doorstep of death, but as the narrator of the dream/movie says, the rest of the family is still in the house (she is around the corner from the main room of this mansion, so apparently this doesn't count as in the house. She's not moved in with her fiancée or anything). Some legal people pull out the will, which is full of envelopes, and at first can't find the one addressed to the girl. But then there it is - and it says "to my daughter - the best part of dying". The mother is worried that the daughter is going to get everything of importance, particularly the secret writings of her husband. When she walks into her husband's bedroom he reassures her, pointing her towards the beautiful old dresser and telling her that it is hers. Apparently this thing contains many of his secrets. And thus ends the dream, happily ever after.
