Couldn't quite come up with a title for this, I had three completely separate dreams this morning, each completely irrelavent to one another, and clearly separated by me waking up in between each one. They kind of freaked me out so didn't want to post them this morning but now I've gotten over it a little bit so here we go:
1.) This was an eerily horrifying and creepy dream, it was like straight-up out of something you'd see in a horror film. From what I recall, I did not play any part in this dream, I just watched the whole thing...the whole storyline is kind of blurry by now, but I clearly remember some sort of mad man mass murderer or something posing as an intern or something at a hospital--he really kidnapped two other men and knocked them unconscious and hooked them up to IVs and oxygen masks in two hospital beds and the men were aware of what was going on, but so fatigued or "out of it" or perhaps weary from whatever drugs were being used that they couldn't really move or hardly open their eyes to do anything about it...one of the men the murderer had hooked up to some oxygen mask that I don't remember was possibly slowly suffocating him or what, but he was knocked completely unconscious, whereas the other victim on the other bed was slightly awake but still unable to move or completely comprehend the situation; the murderer, still disguised as a doctor (white coat, stethoscope, etc.) replaced this man's oxygen mask with a tank of just concentrated chloroform gas, and placed it over his nose and mouth so that he couldn't get out of it with the intention of slowly killing him. This victim looked around and slyly got ahold of the stopper clip thingy on the tube (you know the little clamp that constricts flow from IV or other hooked-up tubes) and turned it off, but the mad man caught him and just turned it back on and tied the man's hands down so he could no longer reach it. The murderer waited in a chair for the men to die, and wondering why it was taking so long for the one with the chlorofom mask to go, he looked over and realized that the mask had come undone, and did it again and then slipped out of the room; he went to a nurse receptionist and in tears expressed that since he was a new intern he made the mistake of not properly hooking up a patient's oxygen mask and regrettably accidentally killed him (although really the man was still alive in the other room); he said this just to do away with any suspiscion later, and the nurse believed him and said quietly that it was not his fault since he was a new intern; she instructed him to go back and just call the time of death. He then, sobbing, asked her which room it was in, and she said, teary-eyed, "1800." He then, with an evil smile of satisfaction on his face, returned to the room and realized that the man in the chloroform mask managed to break loose and free both himself and the other victim and then they were out of sight. This randomly jumped to some time in the future after the incident, and now I was actively in the dream; I and a few others (a couple familiar, a couple not) were cooking soup in the kitchen of my former house IRL, and I and one of the people (who IRL was one of my high school teachers) had certain keychains that were shaped like kitchen appliances (I know, this is where it starts to get typical silly-dreamy), and were comparing stories of past horrific similar incidences we had all witnessed...and then there was a flash back to the hospital, with the evil man in costume again, just holding the chloroform mask and I was now in the patient's position (imagine watching it now from a first-person perspective), and as he placed the mask over my face I was watching the chloroform flow out slowly as I was now the patient in the bed...then I woke up, very slowly, taking a few seconds to open my eyes and realize that I was now awake...it was really disturbing as I thought about the dream then but also very intriguing, so not as horrifying as past nightmares I've had...
2.) This one is very vague. Really all I remember is being in a very large swimming pool with a ton of other people around my age (again, a few familiar, some not), and the purpose of swimming in this pool was to qualify for a job or something, and it started off great but then people started yelling at me and critisizing that I didn't belong there or something, and then somehow I think it flashed back again to my old house IRL and next to the window in my parents' room...
3.) I have to admit this one was pretty awesome. I didn't really realize what it was in reference to until I woke up, which is even more interesting. There was some sort of village, but full of tourists, I guess similar to a RennFest type of thing, everyone in medieval costume and doing it all up; I believe all the tourists really thought it was some sort of faire or recreational exhibit, but unbeknownst to them it was actually a real village in danger, as a villain and a dragon were at large who had kidnapped and locked up the children of the king (so the princess and her two younger siblings, I believe a boy and a girl, all relatively young); somehow, I'm not sure how, but I ended up being the one on the mission to save everyone, and I was carrying a sword and shield and dressed in a green and brown tunic, and was able to jump very high and quickly and almost soar as I was doing so, I just remember in the dream what a liberating feeling it gave me leaping so freely and successfully into the air from one place to another. At one point, completely out of context there was a CD player playing a pretty awesome and fitting soundtrack, then when I saw the tourists glancing over suspiciously, I walked over and took the CD out and tried to nonchalantly have everyone go about their business...this continued for awhile, going through rooms and and in and around towers...then I eventually woke up, and almost immediately realized I had been dreaming, but this time contemplated for a few seconds, and then finally made the connection IRL, which I still find it very intriguing that I was completely unaware while the dream was actually taking place--I was in fact myself, but I was Link in Kokiri Forest from OoT...the village was identical, so was my outfit, sword and shield, and even the CD I had gotten out of the player was the exact OoT soundtrack. Call that kind of nerdy, but it was a pretty awesome dream regardless!
