Last night (or this morning rather), I literally had the worst nightmare of my entire life and I had never been so relieved to wake up and realize this was a dream. It is very long and detailed, but I will try to remember as much of it as I can...
It started off in my family's gathering house (IRL), and for some reason, I, two others who I don't know IRL (one guy and one girl), and my one other friend who does really exist, were dressed in blue full-body work suits and doing some form of construction or electric work or some form of manual labor job. The one friend of mine wasn't part of our "work crew," and was just sent there from somewhere else to assist. Now whatever job we were doing, it was worth one million dollars that upon completion I believe was supposed to be split evenly among us four, but one of the two people on our team brought the stack of money with him and just left it on one of the tables near where we were working. My friend (whose name is Nick btw) was up until this point unaware of the money, saw the stack of cash, and made a sudden violent grab for it, but the other guy leapt to grab it first and jumped out of the way and fell backwards to the floor, and Nick started to jump at him until I and the other girl started yelling, "Don't let him get the triple shooter!!!" and the other guy scrambled around and grabbed this HUGE gun with three enormous barrels on the end and pointed it at Nick, which made him stop in his tracks. I don't remember exactly how from here, but I think after the other guy tried to calmly get Nick to back down, Nick somehow got ahole of the triple shooter and cornered all three of us, demanding the money. For some reason we refused to give it up although our lives were obviously in imminent extreme danger, and somehow the three of us got to sit at a table while Nick was still armed and discuss our situation; the girl said something like "our goal is to get the money without getting shot, right?" and we all agreed on this (go figure), and tried an escape plan and attempted to disarm Nick; the guy on our team quickly got up, aimed it at Nick, and shot him; although it was a huge significant blow, as you can imagine, and it would have been garunteed to kill anyone else, Nick just fell to his knees, grabbed himself in pain, but started to slowly get back up. From here we obviously panicked more, took the triple shooter and made a run for it.
Now we ended up in some town or city that IRL is completely unfamiliar to me, it was beautiful weather, very clean and mostly white and other light, sun-reflecting colors, with houses and cars seeming to be from the 60s or so; Nick was on the loose and the other three of us were frantically running around trying to keep the triple shooter out of his reach and desperately trying to find some help. Finally we went inside this big corporate building (I think it was the company we were originally doing the work for); it was very tall compared to the rest of the neighborhood (out of place, really), the lobby was constructed entirely of floor-to-ceiling windows and the sun was shining through everywhere, it was actually very pretty but obviously I was in no mindset to take the time to notice this. We took the elevator up to the top where our boss was and explained the situation, and I think he said he would help and would try to send some FBI team or something out after him, but we didn't see this happen, I think it was one of those "I'll get around to it" situations...so without any help we resorted to just running around the city, splitting up, and handing over the cash and triple shooter whenever possible to keep it on the move and in different confusing places; we still had no idea where Nick was, until he appeared at the top of a small cliff or something overlooking the town and started raging and yelling about how powerful he was and was going to obtain the money and kill everybody, etc., and I saw him and was yelling back, in tears, asking him why he was doing this and if he needed the money that badly there was so many other ways about it, and why had he changed so much and what happened to the good friend I had had before...none of it seemed to move him, so we all scattered again.
It all gets a little blurry from here, but I remember somehow Nick's house being in the neighborhood and within walking distance around a large pond, so for some reason (mind you this is a dream, miscellaneous things happen), I decided I had to go into his house to wash my hands or something...I think I had some sort of telecommunication device with the other girl on my team, and she informed me that Nick was inside of the house and was guiding me through and helping me sneak around because apparently she knew his position in the house; it was nerve-wracking, but I completed my "mission" and got out safely, and ran back to the center of the town. I remember somewhere in here being in a lower school parking lot and yelling something trying to get help, but this portion is a complete blur to me, so skipping that...all three of us wondering where that FBI help was, I ran back into the corporate building and was asking the front desk receptionist what was going on, and she was unable to help. Although I obviously had known where Nick's house was, and not sure why I wanted to go back, I asked a lady waiting in the lobby if she could help me look up directions to his house. She kindly refused, although I was begging her, but she was like "oh, no, I can't, but uhm, I'll email you when you leave..." and I said, "you don't even have my email address..." and started to walk out, but then another man waiting in the lobby came over and very kindly, although seeming skeptical, said "here, I'll help you," and got me all the information I needed on a gps. Upon exiting the building, I ran into the other two members of my team, and said "here, here! I know where his house is!" but then I think the gps malfunctioned or something, and they were panicking, but then I said "wait--I remember how to walk there, it's right around the corner" and started to lead them there, but I think sometime around this point Nick jumped down and got the triple shooter from the other guy in the team and was threatening to kill everyone, very violently, and had the triple shooter aimed directly at me. I have no idea how but somehow we all got away, in different directions again, while Nick was on a rampage arround the city with the triple shooter and nobody knew exactly where he was. I started to walk down to the pond (again, very beautiful setting, I just remember the sun being so bright and all the light colors...), and for some reason just now decided to pull out my cell phone and call my dad for help. When he picked up the phone, he could tell I was beyond flustered, and the first thing he said was, "where's the car?" (IRL usually whenever I call him flustered it has something to do with a car, ha), and I said in tears but more calmly and kind of laughing, "no, the car is fine, it's parked, it's not that" and he said ok and asked what was wrong, and now panicked again and in tears and speaking very fast about what was going on and saying we needed FBI help but no one was helping, and then out of nowhere my mom started walking down the long, downward, turning street from the city where cars were parked on the sides to the pond where I was on the phone frantic with my dad, and I assumed somehow my dad had sent her, although she was walking calmly and had a smile on her face. She just came over to me, put her hand on my shoulder, and said, "hey, be careful, ok?" and I was freaking out asking if my dad had sent her and if she knew what was going on, and all of a sudden she started to get concerned and said she had no idea and asked what was going on...I don't remember exactly what happened from here, but I remember somehow Nick getting back the triple shooter and I think aiming it again directly at me and then the other members of my team, and I was sure we all were going to die...
and then I woke up. Around 5:51 am; as soon as I opened my eyes I was so relieved, you have no idea. I looked around and got up and turned the lights on, making sure everything was real and safe; I got my phone and almost messaged Nick to tell him what happened, but my phone of course wasn't cooperating so I just went back to sleep, and that's when semi-nightmare number two comes along...since this was so long and detailed I think I will put that one in a separate entry.
