As usual, I had numerous dreams last night but one stuck in my mind so much that I have now forgotten all of the others. This was the most recent one before I woke up:
This was a pretty short dream since it was interrupted by my alarm this morning, but I walked into some kind of art museum and it was a great hall with some special exhibits for the day, all by some famous up and coming artist. Now IRL I really am not a big art appreciator and I recalled this in the dream that it was very odd that I was going to an art museum and immediately simultaneously intrigued and extremely distrubed by what I saw. The first one was right in the center of the huge room, and it was an enormous (like maybe 15 feet each way or something), intricately detailed, realistic, beating heart--it was like the actual organ but on a platform on display--since IRL I have medical training I remember being so weirded out because every single minute detail was absolutely anatomically correct--and even the texture, everything, was all like it was real. There were a few other people in the hall looking at the exhibits in the room, and I just remember I kept looking at the giant beating heart and being extremely almost frightened at the realism of it--it was literally beating as a real heart would, and had intermitten aortic splatter because the valves weren't connected to anything else--and it was a giant thumping, real-life heartbeat noise that you could hear and see with the movement that resounded throughout the entire room; I kept looking away and hiding my face because I was so disturbed by it--and there was a second part to the heart exhibit that really blew it off the charts: right next to the heart was a statue of a man, very similar to those you'd see in ancient Roman marble architecture or something (think David or so), but instead of white it was all true-to-life coloring so it resembled a real man, even though it was hard material and inanimate; but in one hand the statue was holding his own heart in his hand that had been ripped out of his chest, and the other arm was in kind of a reached out and backwards position and kind of ripped open also, and every time the huge heart beat and made the sound, the arm would move rhythmically with it...it was very disturbing...
There were a couple other exhibits in the room that I and a few other people were looking at: on the left wall there were 3 huge screens with different scenes on them playing kind of like an interactive movie type thing, but again all disturbing horrific scenarios; I can't remember the first one all the way to the right, and I vaguely remember the one in the center involving some kind of scuba diving accident or something, but the one that stuck with me (which was playing up until the moment my alarm rang) was the one on the far left, and it was like an absolutely enormous shark on the screen, and it was meant to be so that the viewer imagined himself first-person in a boat that was somehow sinking and being devoured by the shark in front of you; the huge shark was much more frightening anatomically than they are as you normally see IRL, and MUCH MUCH larger; although it was a screen that you watched the scene on, it was almost cartoony, but it was absolutely silent, there was no sound whatsoever, the room completely quiet and even the heart beating you couldn't hear anymore; it was like absolute silence that you couldn't really imagine IRL. I and a few other people (most specifically I believe a father and his young child) stayed staring up at the huge screen in awe; and towards the end of the film the shark "stood" for lack of a better word erect, nose upward and tail facing straight downward, facing the viewer, and all of a sudden started lashing back and forth and digging itself into the sand on the ocean floor with its tail until it was almost buried...then my alarm sounded and I woke up. Pretty freaky stuff.

I had this dream whilst on vacation with two friends in Austria; in the dream, we had just gotten in from a night out with other friends, and we went into this house that we were apparently staying in, but I had never seen before IRL; in the dream it is exactly 11:00PM and pitch black outside. It was kind of split-level I suppose, mostly white on the inside with linoleum floors, and the stairs from the front door led directly downstairs into the living room area. The other two girls headed downstairs, and I was about to follow them when I heard a knock at the door; I turned around to unlock it, when the girls were telling me not to because it wasn't safe. I said, "but what if it's one of us [our friends] and they need to get inside?" and they said, "no, it's not, just don't answer it," so I shrugged and followed them downstairs. Almost immediately thereafter (we are in the kitchenette area now which is directly open to the living room), some figures rush by the open window in the kitchen and it suddenly shuts; the figures were blurry but like heads (an adult and two children I believe), with milky white complexion and no hair (I guess you could compare them to Voldemort in the Harry Potter movies for reference); they then appeared at the kitchen door (a glass door that opened to the outside); the door was closed, and the figures (now full bodies visible, in black flowy robe-type things) began knocking on the glass door and trying to speak to us, but it was muffled and they were also speaking in Dutch so we couldn't understand them; we were responding in what little Dutch we knew and some English saying that we didn't speak Dutch and couldn't understand what they were saying; as I turned around to walk away, the adult figure's hand reached through the glass (similarly to how a ghost's would) and grabbed me by the wrist; I tried to pull away but the grasp just became tighter and I started to panic and get really frightened as I frantically tried to run away but couldn't get out of its hand--then I woke up. I remember waking up absolutely terrified and looking frantically around the room, almost immediately realizing it had been a nightmare, and afraid as hell to go back to sleep because I didn't want it to pick up where it left off; I tried to calm myself down and finally got back to sleep a little while later, but don't remember the dreams following.

So this guy I'm currently talking to...I don't need to write the story of my life here but basically from past dating experiences I am terrified about guys randomly losing interest and disappearing...so every time I email or otherwise message this guy and I don't get a response within a few hours I automatically start freaking out and thinking the worst and it drives me insane making me SO freaking anxious...so last night for hours before I went to bed I kept brooding over this and constantly checking my email like a freakazoid until I finally went to sleep...and ALL NIGHT LONG I literally dreamed that I kept checking my email and phone constantly for a response and never got one...it kept waking me up in the middle of the night but I still thought it was all real...so Idk where this part came in but I guess we finally got back in touch and everything was normal, and we met up and were talking in person and we were in the city sitting on this wall and talking, and all of a sudden he looks at me and just starts kissing me, and it was fricken amazing, I was so happy...
Then out of the blue, Idk where this came from but I was in the grocery store shopping for this diet I was going on, and specifically trying to find some form of salmon but it was all super expensive so I was running around the entire store trying to decide which one was the most affordable, and the guy was still with me trying to follow me and help me out but kind of laughing that I was putting so much effort into this--then another random change...
I all of a sudden ended up back at home (again, my old childhood home, which is 90% of the time the house that is in my dreams, Idk why), even though I am currently living abroad IRL--it was just me and my family now; IRL I have been waiting for a package from home for over a month now and it still hasn't arrived (>.<;;), so turns out it got returned to sender and it was on the front porch of the house, and it was a HUGE like seacrate sized cardboard box, and I was shocked, and because IRL yesterday my mom told me she had sent me a massive amount of chapstick, in the dream I was thinking, "wow, she wasn't kidding about how much chapstick she sent me..." xP So for whatever reason, I climbed on top of the box and started posing for pictures my sister was taking, then again in front of the box, and just kept thinking to myself how I never would have been able to fit the package into the house I am living in overseas anyway, or even have it delivered there, and it was good that it got returned because my mom got her massive amount of shipping costs refunded...then at some point after this my sister and I ended up in my childhood room (again, a recurring happening in my dreams), and we were playing with something I don't remember, but I think it involved a lot of little tiny green-colored balls or something, and we were also playing with it with the cat that currently IRL lives with me overseas, and thennnn I think the dream ended here...and then I woke up, initially confused on where I was, but after a few second looked around and realized that I was in my room IRL in my overseas residence...and just immediately went back to thinking about the email and was so pissed off that that kiss wasn't real... >.<""";;;;
