I had agreed to stay for a while in the US - some kind of a 'lets see how it works and if it does I'll move there permanently' agreement I made with myself. Well, it seemed to go okay and I couldn't see why I shouldn't go ahead with the idea.
Additional Comments:
In 2000 I had a three month trial stay in Orono, Maine with a young lady I met during the year. I thought it went well but she didn't!

I was flicking through a magazine in which I saw an advertisment for a Muswell Hill stadium of the
future. There may have been references to the delay in the completion of Wembley Stadium and there
was also an athletics track around the pitch. in the distance of this stadium could be seen US flags,
which indicated that at some point we had given up our sovereignty and become just another state of
the US.

I was in the US and getting ready to fly home (Sophie was living there with her parents) and at the
same time had an appointment to have my feet looked at. I said goodbye to Sophie's mum, who was
still in her room and so called back to me.
Additional Comments:
Not sure why I had Sophie and her folks living in another country!
