Sandwiches for Madonna?

I was asked by a newspaper to deliver a plate of sandwiches to Madonna. The catch being that within the sandwiches was a microphone that was going to record anything that was said, and be used for future publication. The first time I did this, I was turned away at her front door as she wasn't hungry. Great. I got a plateload of sandwiches for nothing.

Not to be beaten, another plateload of food was made for me to deliver the next day. I was so sure that I was going to get this for myself that I was working out what I was going to eat first. However, I was let in this time and delivered the plate to Madonna herself. Afterwards I was telling a colleague of how I had met Madonna, and was pleased that I had an interesting tale other than just speaking to her at a book or record signing.

     Diana had gone missing and was found at the bottom of a river with pieces of her jewelry. Also found was my lunch box with food still fresh and a video that I had looked for in vain for years

    Courtney's B&B

     Courtney Love was renting rooms at her B&B, which should really read 'sleeping bags', for that's all they were. There were sandwiches available and these were placed on the sleeping bags for the occupants. There was a games room and I had tried the Rubik's cube after having a look at a few of the other games. The games machines were similar to fruit machines.
