My mother was having trouble with the new neighbours. Not so much from the neighbours, but those who objected to an Indian family moving next door to her. Mum said that she did not have any problem with who she lived with, and that a petition that the Indian family should move was wrong. Then the other neighbours said that my Mum was the racist one and all kind of death threat began to arrive. Of course, I explained that the police ought to be involved, but that was too simple a decision for a dream, right?

In a later part of this dream I had a packet of cards. I had to count sixteen out, and the first time I made it to ten and then lost count. The next time I made it all the way to sixteen, From here I was pushing a shopping trolley full of folders into a sports stadium. I wanted to find a place I could sit by myself, but every row of seats had at least one spectator. I eventually found a compromise and left the seats pushed agaist the back of the highest row of seats and sat in front of them.

Old people who vote regularly for a racist political party were standing in silence in a pub, then as one they walked very slowly in single file from one exit door to the other at the end of the bar.

I was boarding a plane and had to stamp my ticket in a machine. I let the stewardess go ahead of me and up the stairs. I was seat no 224, the last one on the plane. I was looking at the On The Buses cast, drawn as a caracature. There were racists walking up a hill and I was involved in a pricket match.
