I was back living with my parents. They were discussing moving to a new home, and as coincidence would have it, the home happened to be the one owned by Kim, who had moved out recently. A deal was struck and we were to move in. However, at some point the move stalled, and we were then looking for somewhere closer to our home.
I must say that the next house we looked at was horrible. Rather than having brick walls we had glass, which meant that anybody could see as they walked past. We had no fencing or a garden at the front or back. It was a wide concourse that backed right up to the front glass door and the side windows. But where was the privacy? Anyone could look through and see my CD collection! Part of the concourse had a locking system that allowed for it to be locked off at a certain time of night, but it looked confusing and had some kind of apples and pears sequence to activate.
