It was Mum and Dad's 50th wedding anniversary and they had received nothing from us kids - other
than a few pounds from one of us. They asked what had become of my present and in despair I put my
hands in my pockets and came up with a bunch of rolled up dollars of various denominations. Some
were ripped but I explained they could easily by taped together.I was also at an Olympics held in the
USA where a frozen track was threatening to delay the start of a race. I checked the ice and it
appeared to be melting quickly.

Glad to say that I didn't forget their 50th in 2004.

I met a relation of Sophie's on his birthday, who had a big car in his drive and I was saying buy him a
card as a present. I went to give him a handshake but it was extremely limp and with no real meaning.

Michael Jackson has signed me to his record label. I'm sitting with him and talking afterwards, but he is
now a very youthful lad and I ask him what happened to the record label and why did it crash?
He has two dogs and they are playfighting amongst themselves. The bigger one ends the argument by
getting the other by the ear and dragging it away. Michael decides to give me the winning dogs as a
present, but as it lies there all sweet and innocent I think to myself, what do I need a dog for?
