I was cycling down a dark country lane with friends behind me keeping close. Ahead of me I saw some bright headlights and recognised that there was a vehicle soon about to pass by. I wanted to let the driver know that I was coming at him from the other direction and I didn't have any reflective clothing on. I had a torch, so turned it on and began waving it furiously to attract their attention. Otto was in the basket in front of me on the bike and was taking an interest in the torch beams, despite how dim they were. I don't believe what I was doing was having much of an effect. And anyway, the car must've gone a different way as we never saw it again.

I was staying in a plush hotel. I was on my way downstairs to the reception area for no particular reason when I happened to see Otto our dog, running around with another dog. I decided not to let myself be seen by the receptionist, so I hid behind a post and called him over. He came to me and I grabbed him and took him back upstairs out of trouble.
As I retraced my steps I came across ten or so coins that had been dropped on the floor. I pocketed them and noted that there was a 5 cent French coin which surely must be rare as they had the Euro by that point? confirmed Then I saw my wallet and bus pass and came to the conclusion that everything was mine.
I met up with a man, whilst carrying carrier bags. Now I was a woman and in the bags I had some other items that I had found in the hotel. Meeting us were two old ladies and we were going to look at what had been found and what items we were going to hand over and what we wanted to keep for ourselves. Quite an odd arrangement I know There were things like perfume that we let them take back, but when it came to the chocolate it was more a 'one for you, two for us' attitude from the man.

A mum and daughter had met a man on their mobile phone chat while they were out. They thought they may have lost him while they returned home because their battery had run low, but he rang back at midnight. I saw this conversation from both person's perspective.
Sophie's dad had taken out two toilet cubicles in our house to add showers, and when I went to use one I discovered the work that had been done so far. I went downstairs down stone steps and kept thinking 'this is like a game of Dungeon Master'.
So now I was outside the house and watching Otto playing outside. He caught sight of a mouse and chased it furiously into the house and around and around. I turned back to look towards the house and a small dog came towards me. I recognised it as belonging to next door and being a normally shy creature. Here it was, rubbing against my leg and wanting my attention. Not finding it with me, it took to Sophie who absolutely adored him.
