I had to travel to work many miles away to meet my young brother who had gone on ahead of me. But where was this place? He left me a map with a friend with details of how I could go by train and then take a 5 min walk to my destination. The map looked so nice and led my thoughts on to a cartography day out that had all the trippers turning into green monsters.

At work we were discussing the big news of the day: who or what was stealing copies of The Metro and what was happening to them? The Metro was being left for collection by distributers around London at 3am and huge numbers were almost instantly going missing. It just so happened that the newsstand I pass by each morning was one of the stages beng looked at in the dissappearance. Well I discovered purely by chance that there was a green monster going around eating whatever copies he could find, so I resolved to hide whatever was left out in the morning and see what happened. I was going to use some old copies that were being left around the office as bait. As I left, I was picking at an object embedded in the palm of my hand.

I used to collect a copy of Metro from the station every morning from the station before I moved back to London

Police were checking parked cars as I was sitting in the passenger seat. So I opened the hood, got
changed and then drove off. Also, a monster was due to reappear to me after dark, and I got lost on
my way to a school. It had already got dark, even though it as only 5pm. My only protection was a
gun that fired light matter when needed.
