A boy was hit by a train after he was constantly told not to swing on a fence next to a railway track. He was still alive when he struck the concrete at my feet, but was moaning something incomprehensible. I called 999 and was in some shock myself and I asked for the Police and Ambulance service to come to the railway station. I was then 3rd person as an Irishman observing myself talking fast into phone.
