I was sleeping. Or was I? I heard this loud explosion as I lay underneath my blanket, yet it didn't wake me from my sleep. Eventually I stirred and looked around me. The bedroom door had grown to double its size and as I watched, a bus was trying to reverse inside. It looked to be a lost cause though, for the driver took at least four passes at it before giving it up as a bad job.

I left the huose. I was outside, looking at what was a building site. There were brick and building materials everywhere. I was wandering around with no particular motive till I came across a man with a wooden plank. He was struggling with trying to pull it over a barbed wire fence. I managed to help him with this until deciding that was enough excitement for one morning. Time to go home.

So in the direction of home I went. I got lost, even though I hadn't gone far. At one point I wandered into the wrong sector of the site but the s manager seemed okay with that. I retraced my steps and got home with no further mishaps. Phew!

Sophie and I were driving along when I had an overwhelming urge to get out of the car and walk. I hadn't gone far when I realised that I had no shoes on. I decided that the best thing to do was to push a trolley all the way home for miles. When I got home, Sophie told me I had left my shoes with her in the passenger side of the car. Doh!

It's that moment where you don't need to be told: it's 5am and time to go home! Erm... except I had no recollection of anything between then and half past four, except for a time check at 4.50pm from the boss. It was as if I must have been sleeping at my desk for half an hour and nobody said anything. Surely I couldn't have got away with that without a comment from someone. Anyway, I had to quickly turn my computer off and take my log-in card out and get ready to leave. Kim was waiting impatiently, which made a change as it is usually the other way round. On my way to the toilet I saw one of my neices with a friend sitting in the waiting room area, and as I was about to say something to them a patient walked past and I asked where they were going as we had no appointments left for the day.
