So there I was on a narrow pathway after ages of following a woman. I needed to go past so I asked politely 'can I come by?' I was quite shocked when she refused to move over. So I continued to press her to pass on either side. If only my knees did not ache I would push past this rude woman.
We came to a clearing in the woods. She went a different path and I was listening for sounds that I could hear around me. They sounded like aliens nearby. Now I was at a door and I pushed it open a little. There was a tour guide giving a talk to a small assembly of people. Looking around, there was a small village right in middle of the woods. This was so unexpected and quite picturesque. My workmate Kim was there and asked to be directed towards the smoking area. I pointed towards a 6ft square area in the far corner.

I was on a guided tour around a rather spectacular cathederal. The tour was coming to an end when I became aware of the fact that there were children on the tour who had paid to see a particular sight that was being shown for free with the guide. The children were hanging back as the guide made to show us all out of the building, as if there was more to see that had been missed. Then I came to another conclusion: that I may well have been a schoolboy but I did not know how to look at myself.

Free food was available as I walked past a pub. A waitress put upright bagettes with a knife in the top
on the outside tables and invited me to sit down and eat. I had returned from a guided walk where I
had been going up steps following the guide. She collected a 20p deposit from everyone and seemed to
take a lot more than that from me when I presented an open palm for her to take mine.
