I was looking away from the finishing line of an athletics track as the competitors come down the
final straight. It was up to me to stop the competitors before their race ended. I made some
half-hearted tackles but could never really get close enough to anyone to actually bring them down.
During all of this I could hear the commentary of a man who was trying to get the brand name Persil
into a song.

I was taking part in a race that I ran alongside Sophie which ended at the end of the alley. We came
across a fox as we turned into the opening straight which happened to be the alley that leads
towards my home, and I was at first unsure if it was a wild animal and might attack us thankfully
we walked past with the slightest bit of attention.
We carried on and ran past the finishing line holding hands and turned left. It was very quiet
indeed and then it hit me that we hadn't finished, and that we should have crossed over the road to
where the real finishing line was located.
When we ran over, we were told we were 32nd and 33rd, so either we were not in the lead as we
thought, or 31 had ran past when we went in the wrong direction. A trophy presentation by a fat and
randy woman ended in farce when she made a pass at the winning male runner.
