There was a confrontation in a pool hall. A man was telling the story of a previous game and what was now happening was a challenge for a rematch. The challenge was accepted and the team made themselves known from out of the shadows.

I watched as a car pulled up at a cliff face, a door opened and a man was thrown out to the rocks below to his death. This was seen by a man who had been driven to the cliffside and was thinking that he had seen his fate, but nothing of the sort happened.

There was also a brief dream of walking down a slope when I lost my footing and my feet went from underneath me. I ended on my backside and quickly looked around to see if anyone had seen what had happened. This happened a month ago and has been on my mind ever since.

I was telling a work colleague of a strange thing I had seen in the shopping centre: there was a man in the food section of a supermarket, and I  was looking upwards and saw something fall from above. It was the man. He fell or dived into what looked like ice that was going to break his fall. This led to him knocking over lots of chocolate onto the floor.

On the pier

I was standing on what could best be described as a wooden pier, looking out to the sea. I had been here before, and my intention was to walk along the pier to its end. I was sitting down for a few moments, and when I set off there was a line of people following me. It was not how I remembered the walk because when I set off there was a thin pathway with a wall to my right and a steep drop to my right with no safety bar to hold on to. I decided I was not going to do the walk and so dropped down a few feet and made my way back.

But something went wrong on my way off the pier: I was clinging on to a plank of wood as it rose higher and higher into the air and it came to me that I ought to jump into the water when I had an opportunity over water. As I fell I remembered to hit the water in as small a shape as possible, then began to swim back. It was below freezing though, and I knew that I was going to turn into a block of ice if nobody saw me soon.
