I had bought a french stick with tuna in a shop in France. It had cocktail sticks inside, which I believed was rather an odd touch. I was trying to say to the shop owner that I wanted ' une' (1), but said ' neuf' (9?). In exchange for £5 I was given lots of English coins as change.
