 I went to a burger bar for a sausage sandwich and when I looked in the pan it looked overcooked. Anyway, this was put into a sandwich by a young lady with an unusual accent, and she also gave me a sticker with her name and address on it. She wanted me to get in touch with her. It was an Portugese address. Nettie came running up to me and said she got away from work to come and see me. My food had become a sausage roll and I wanted to eat it.

     I was asked for my address. I had to write it down on a piece of paper but was given some of that kind that is waxy and refuses to take ink. When I tore off a piece of paper to use that I liked, I wrote the wrong postal code on it in pencil and had to cross some of what I had written out and write it again. The impression I had was that the shop assistant did not believe I was writing my real address down.
