Ah, back to my favourite recurring dream symbol: toilets.
I was walking along a river bank on my own on a quiet afternoon. Just a regular stroll. In the distance I see movement, then white, then can see at least twenty figures running in my direction on the same bank as me. I struggle for my camera when it becomes clear that these were monks dressed in white, jogging along in unison. Then another thought comes to me that maybe I ought to respect them and not treat this as some unusual event.* I stand aside and let them pass.
I continue into town. I now need to visit a toilet. I find one and enter hurredly. Now I'm in darkness and wondering what I am doing. Something feels odd, and it becomes obvious that this a confession box. I pull up my zip and leave by another door, which leads me to semi darkness. Now there is a little basin, but it has water in it - obviously not for peeing in as it holds holy water for blessing. I exit to outside the toilets, where where a lady is collecting money for using the toilets as they do in some European countries. 'I'm not giving you money as there's no toilet in there!' I say. What a rip off!
Additional Comments:
* This is a dream, this is a dream. For crying out loud!!! This whole dream was screaming out for me to become lucid.

I met a young lady in a cafe (younger than me shall we say) but unfortunately this brief meeting came to an end too soon as she had to go to work.
I left to go for a walk in my home town, so walked out into the street and took a couple of turnings before coming to a narrow alleyway which had high buildings on either side. Think about it, they looked straight out of Charles Dickens. There were two men standing looking skywards, then the first one began climbing quickly from window to drainpipe till the second and somewhat older man followed suit but in a slower fashion. I walked quite cautiously past, and as I did, the first man was back on the ground and saying something like 'at least he has a smile on his face' or words to that effect.
Continuing along, the alleyway became dirty, and I came to a fruit & veg market that appeared to be just ending. There was rubbish strewn everywhere and I thought to myself how this set a bad image for London but yet was truly representative of the city at the same time.

There were a number of themes going on in this dream:-
Firstly, I was on a station platform, collecting bits of drinks into my glass. I was both drinking what was in the glass and also going to give it to a customer in the station bar to get him drunk. I had to phone my sister to ask her if I could stay at her place for the night.
There was a shop near to the bar. In it was a man who was taking an order from me for a toy. He was behaving rudely and put items onto the counter but not into bag. I had turned my back on him to show him I was annoyed at what he was doing. The items were still in clear containers, but he doesn't say is he needs them back. I look closer and see that the items are in fact sweets such as jelly babies and dolly mixtures. I start putting them into a box and they are sticky and gooey.
Also running with these two themes is a gag that a baby is able to understand what drunks are talking about, and vice versa. What with all the drinking I had lost my bag, so I said something to the baby who waddled off and found where it had been put for me.
