Then I was looking at my bed and it occurred to me that a pile of cement had been put in the centre and water was being mixed into it. I was told it was Mum's way to get me up and out of bed to help Dad. So I went up a flight of steps into a pub in darkness and quickly came to a decision: I was going to steal a spoon. I attended a football game in which poetry was being read in selections from a book. This was taking place on the terraces of a football ground and whoever was reading was skipping to the best poems and leaving the best till last.
I had been warned at work to be careful or I would bruise my ribcage if I kept my arms down low. Lots of people were arriving at a meeting that was not booked in advance. Afterwards I was complaining that I was not aware of what had been arranged and that please, I need to be given a warning in advance of this. I was being followed from work and out into the darkness, though this did not bother me in the slightest.
Afterwards, I was asked if I could buy tickets for a big game for Sophie's Dad. I thought to myself, that seems an odd thing to ask as they would have been sold out ages ago.
