I was living in a new apartment complex. I had just moved in, so I wasn't used to the layout of the place yet. I had a small apartment; probably a studio since I didn't see any entrances to a bedroom.

My door had two locks on it. They were unusual. One was like a dead bolt, except it didn't go in the frame. It rested against the back of the frame at an angle. The lock was a small, angled piece of metal. The second lock was a piece of wood that looked like half a plane propeller. I didn't understand how that worked at all, so I just rested it against the other lock.

My apartment was the second door after a corner on one building. I walked by a pool to get to it. The pool was disgusting, but people were swimming in it. The water was opaque and had green and yellow tints to it. There was something in an L-bend of the pool. I studied it but couldn't figure out what it was. Someone told me it was a Volkswagen car. I put on some goggles and jumped in. Even though the water was dirty, I could see underwater.

The car was in three parts. The front where the engine was, was one part. The back was another, and the sun roof was the third. The engine part was in the middle, and the other parts flanked it. I got out of the gross water and took a deep breath.

I called the police about the state of the pool. Two officers showed up, and I pointed out the car to one of them. I thought they would be able to help with the pool.

Then I tried to find my apartment. I was by the wrong building and couldn't find the corner I needed to take. I passed by some people who saw the confused look on my face. One person looked like Omar from "The Wire." He pointed me in a direction, though I don't think it helped. I tried to find my place by reading the numbers. I wasn't too far. I wished I had noticed what building number I was in.

I finally found my apartment. The door was open, and the blinds were turned to reveal what was inside. My place had been ransacked. I realized that I didn't lock the door. My TV was gone, and so was my stereo. My computer was still there. I was really upset and angry at myself. Then I figured out that it was just a dream, so I could just go back in time and get my TV and stereo back.

Additional Comments:

This is the most lucid I've been in a dream in a long time. I woke up after realizing it was a dream, but it wasn't instantly afterward, like usual.

I was in my high school drama class and in the auditorium. I was on the stage right side and standing on an elevated area. I wasn't on stage, and I was in front of the seats. There were a few people setting up for a play. No one was in the audience.

I saw a former classmate in front of the stage. He walked on the stage and then disappeared. It was Byron, who I knew had died. I asked if anyone else saw him. No one did. I told them I just saw his ghost.

    Additional Comments:

Byron was in a few drama classes with me. He died a couple of years ago.

    In the war

I was in a jungle and in a war. It was World War II, but it was some different dimension World War II. The jungle was more like Vietnam than the Pacific jungles. Our camp was on the bank of a big river. Inflatable rafts would come by every so often with soldiers or prisoners.

One raft upstream had only prisoners in it, so I went to it to guide it in. I walked in the river and then hopped in the boat. Two men had grenades, so I was in trouble. There were no sudden moves, but I was able to grab a grenade and jump out of the boat. I pulled the pin and held it for a bit. Then I threw it in the boat and ducked and covered my head from the shore. It exploded quickly and killed everyone on board. There were even some women on board, but I didn't care.

Then I was back near our base but still in the water. Two white children with blond hair were on a raft. I waded over to them and talked to them. They were a niece and nephew of Adolf Hitler. They didn't know the atrocities he committed, but since I was from the future, I tried to convince them that they should distance themselves. They didn't have his name. Theirs was something like Lelly or something with a few "L's."

I let them go, and I went to the land. I walked by some bunkers and hid behind one and cried. All I could think of was how bad Hitler was.
