I had just gotten hired at a company in a city, and I was preparing my desk. It wasn't a newspaper, and I don't think it was journalism related. But I knew I was an editor. I unpacked a few books, including one by Bill Walsh. One of my co-workers said he was familiar with his work.
I wanted to show off that I have a book signed by him. The book I grabbed had an odd shape. It had a picture of a hound dog on the cover, and it was cut around the dog's outline. The first page had a flap on it that folded out. I tried to find the signature, but then I realized it was the wrong book. I dug in my shaving kit for the other book but didn't find it.
My friend Tim was sitting at a desk near mine. He was fiddling around on the computer. I walked up to him, and he acted really confused. He said he didn't totally understand what he was supposed to do for this company. I said he wasn't the only one. Then Lisa, who was the news editor at the Wildcat, walked up to Tim's cubicle. I hugged her, and the three of us stood around and talked for a while.
Then Caitlin walked up. We all talked about how it's fun that we were working together again. Three of our co-workers came up and took pictures of us. I ducked behind Lisa because I wanted to see if I could keep from having my picture taken. More people showed up and started taking pictures.
A female co-worker told all the guys that we had to leave because she would be taking female pictures. Lisa sat in a chair and covered herself in a towel. I left.
Additional Comments:
The entire time, I felt unsure of the whole situation. Tim didn't know what he was doing, and there was no supervision for me. I had no idea what the job was.

I was at Cedar Point's main gate waiting for the park to open. Someone was showing me pictures on his camera of a group of students who traveled to South America. As he shuffled through the pictures, I recognized some of the people. I got excited because they were in my youth group when I was in high school.
The gate opened, and we walked through. People were putting balloons up inside the park. I asked what was going on, and an employee told me it was a customer appreciation day. I took a bunch of balloons and walked toward Raptor. A group of sweeps stood by a midway game, and one of them looked at me. She was Kelly, my old team leader from Cedar Point in 2003. I walked up to her, and she hugged me.
Then I walked toward Johnny Rockets because I somehow knew season passholders would get free fries that day. But I decided to wait until later. I wanted to ride Raptor. The line extended far outside the queue, but it was straight into the station. None of the queues were full, so I decided to wait.
A new queue rail had been set up outside the entrance in case the line got long and curled back toward the midway. As I stood in line, someone from my home town walked by. We recognized each other, but we didn't say anything.
When I got in the station, it was empty. I went to the back row. All three trains were stacked.
Additional Comments:
It was raining really hard, but it didn't interfere with anything. I went through as though it was sunny.
Some part of this dream had me in the Edwards's dining room. I was talking to Talaya about Cedar Point and my friend who has more than 5,000 rides on Raptor. She got excited and said she'd seen him on the Web cam. I asked how she knew it was him, and she said he wore a bright neon shirt that said, "Single rider" on it. I said that wasn't him, that it was Bob. But I asked if she saved the image of him. She said she did, so I gave her my e-mail address. She scribbled it down on the tablecloth.

I was in a school with La Bamba from "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and four other members of a band. La Bamba and I played guitar. I don't know how to play, so I just strummed quietly while the other band members played loudly.
Will was on the drum, but he only had the snare drum he took from me years ago. We all got up and walked into a large room. I think it was the cafeteria. People were having a wedding reception in the room. We were the wedding band.
The song "Spinning Wheel" was playing on the stereo, so we played along to it. I just strummed the guitar and sang along. We sat down in a small circle of chairs. Will got up, and I looked at the drum and saw writing on the side. It said it was made in Port Clinton, Ohio, which is near where I live now. I was surprised.
