I was in Monument Valley with the Lone Ranger, a woman and a 12-year-old girl. The woman and girl
lived in a trailer. The Lone Ranger didn't wear his mask, and he looked like John Wayne.
He was fighting a villain. The villain was a tall man with a black mustache. He wore a black cape
and a top hat, just like a classic Vaudeville villain. The Lone Ranger gave me a revolver and a
knife and told me to watch his back as we crept around the trailer to get the villain.
The villain stood near some rocks and laughed at us as he fired his gun. I tried to fire mine, but
it broke. A long spring fell out. I picked the spring up and tried to figure out where to put it,
and the only thing I could figure was that this spring actually fired the bullet.
I put the spring in the gun and put a bullet in front of it. There was a smaller spring at the
beginning of the big spring, and I pushed them into the gun. I loaded the revolver and cocked it.
The Lone Ranger ran back to me and hid in the trailer. The woman and girl came out and stood by me.
I hid behind some rocks and waited for the villain to come near. I kept my gun loaded and in one
hand, and I had my knife in the other.
He walked closer and stood on the other side of the rocks. I kept peeking around the corner to see
if he was there, but I didn't see him. Around the other side of the trailer came a tall black man.
He was about 7 feet tall and had African-style tribal tattoos and paint on his face.
The man said he was Tonto, the Native American sidekick to the Lone Ranger. I believed him, though I
was a little confused because he was black. The Lone Ranger ran around the rocks trying to scare the
villain around to me. He told me to shoot him if he got near because he'd certainly kill me. I was
terrified, but I had my gun ready.
