I died and knew it. But instead of going to some sort of afterlife, I was reborn. I traveled into another body. My POV was from above as I slowly sank into what looked like a baby.

I was now this baby. I opened my eyes and crawled around a little. I was really low to the ground. I also knew I had been reincarnated, and I figured my knowledge of this would fade as I became able to communicate.

After a while I realized I wasn't a baby human, I was a puppy. This was strange but fun. I knew I wouldn't live that long, but since I was a puppy, people would love me. I was a yellow Lab. A little girl was petting me.

We grew up together, though the next part of the dream was her as a teen and me as an adult dog. We were in her bedroom, and I was somehow communicating with her. I believe I was talking. I was making "Arrested Development" references, and she laughed.

Additional Comments:

The only thing I can figure from this dream is the "AD" reference. The show's coming back, on Netflix, and I'm looking forward to it.

I don't believe in reincarnation.

    Teens make me feel old

Meghan Z. and I were in a bedroom with some teenage girls. She somehow knew one of them or was related to one, and the others were that girl's friends. They were talking, and Meghan and I were quizzing them on things from our youth.

We eventually learned that they knew nothing we knew from the 1990s. Obviously they didn't know the '80s, but not knowing the '90s was shocking to us. I was astonished. I didn't want to tell them how old I was and what I remembered because being 30 around teenagers made me feel really old.

    In the newspaper printing presses

I was working at the Amarillo paper and went downstairs to the presses to grab the newspapers. When I got down there, the presses were shutting down, and people were packing things up. A later crew was coming in. I picked up a paper from a stack, but it didn't have all the sections. Someone pointed me to a pile where all the sections were inserted.

I walked around a little. I don't know why, but I wasn't looking for papers. I explored the gigantic press facility. I passed by a group of new employees getting their badges and assignments. Someone thought I was new and told me to do something. She didn't see that my badge said I work in the newsroom. I walked away.

People were putting things away and setting the presses and mail room to their original states. One guy was lubricating all the presses. I started heading back to the newsroom. I had to cross through the mail room and sorting machines and pass the presses. The lubrication guy also was running the entire presses slowly. One part of the presses was a bunch of odd devices on the floor. One used a powerful magnet and slowly rotated around an empty space. It was like an MRI machine.

The man was testing the MRI device, so I didn't step through it. I had two forks in my hands, and I didn't want them to fly around if the machine was on. I had been stepping over the other devices on the floor. They looked like a bunch of wires and some black plastic parts from a child's toy.

I walked through a door that was about a foot shorter than normal. That led me to a long hall that didn't have any discernible exit, so I went back through the door. I walked along the wall and turned a corner. There was the door I needed. I passed by more presses and saw a little girl in a ballerina outfit. I told her she looked pretty and was probably the best dancer at the Christmas pageant. Her father was the lubrication man, and he said something about it not being a Christmas pageant. Her dress was red and green.

I continued walking toward the exit. I just smiled and nodded at the other employees I passed.

    Additional Comments:

I don't know why it was the Amarillo paper. The presses and mail room were huge like in Austin. But the setup and presses were nothing like at either paper.
