I was on a road trip east from Arizona or somewhere out West. I was driving through the mountains east of Albuquerque and stopped at an area where the road was blocked by a chain-link fence. It was a construction area, but there was a set path between fences to get to the other side.

I had to park my car and walk through the area. There were some parts of it that were like a maze, but I eventually found my way. I walked past cliffs and some areas that seemed pretty dangerous, but I made it to the other side.

Somehow I got my car on the other side, even though I hiked through the construction zone. I got in and kept driving east. I don't know where I was going, but I know I was going to meet my mom.

Then I was traveling west again. I must have finished my trip east, though I don't know what happened or what it was for. I got back to the mountains and parked my car to walk through again. I remembered this area, so it wasn't as confusing this time.

I did come to one area that made me nervous. The sun started going down, and I didn't want to be in the construction area at night. I was in a large opening between the fences, but I didn't see any paths out. I saw one area that led somewhere, but it was walled off with a fence. I thought about scaling the fence or cutting through it somehow, but that didn't seem like a good idea. I stood back and looked around and eventually saw that I somehow just missed the path.

I followed it and ended up on the other side and out of the construction area. This time I knew my car was on the other side. I wondered how I got my car before since hiking through the mountains was the only way past them. I considered calling a towing company or a helicopter. I walked around a parking lot looking for someone who might be working at the construction site.

There were some trailers and a few pickups parked in the lot. I saw one person inside a blue pickup, so I walked up to him to ask for help. It was my co-worker Rick. I was surprised to see him. We talked for a bit, and he told me that he was able to get his pickup through the mountains somehow. I asked if he might be able to help me get my car.

    Emergency in a field

I was in a field with the character Peter Benton from "ER," a female friend of his or his girlfriend (though not in the show) and two white farmer-type men. We had just gotten out of a vehicle. We were in a field surrounded by pine trees. Just next to us was a simple fence with wooden posts and three wires running along it. Some kind of accident happened, or one of the farmers was having a heart attack. Benton told us to move aside so he could help.

There was blood on the man's chest. His friend slowly lowered him to the ground. Benton did CPR and told the woman to call for help. She called 911. I stood around watching the excitement. Eventually I saw a lot of firefighters running through the trees and into the field. They were all black, and Benton sarcastically asked the woman if she called the "black 911."

There was another fence between the firefighters and us. Two firefighters ahead of the group ran to a gate, which was closed and locked with a wire, and hit it once each with the axes they were carrying over their shoulders. That opened the gate, and they burst through.

    Additional Comments:

I have been watching a lot of "ER" lately. I imagine it'll make it in more dreams since I still have eight seasons left to watch.

    Helicopter crash

I was in the backyard of my house in Kayenta with my mom and brother. It was a nice, clear day. I don't know what we were doing there other than just hanging out. A white helicopter flew over the neighborhood. It had huge instruments attached to it, and it looked bulky.

It quickly flew out of view behind the shed, so my mom and brother didn't see it. It came back, and we got a better look at it. The instruments looked like gas canisters. They were all white and were attached and positioned above the rotor. The copter circled around a bit before disappearing from view behind the roof of the shed.

Then it suddenly flew up a little, listed and dove down into the desert. I ran inside, grabbed my camera and ran into the alley and on top of the dike. I shot some pictures through the fence, but I wanted a better view of the crash. I climbed the chain-link fence a little and tried to shoot through the barbed wire, but I couldn't get anything good. The exposure on my camera was weird. Even though it was sunny, my camera was reading a proper exposure at a really low shutter speed. The pictures had a considerable amount of motion blur to them.

To the right of me was a section of fence that was set back slightly. There was a metal bench in the little area, so I stood on the bench to shoot over the fence. There were agents and people around the helicopter. They looked at me, and it was implied that I shouldn't be taking pictures, but no one told me not to. I also kept shooting.

    Additional Comments:

Sometimes it seems like my camera doesn't work properly when I use it in my dreams. I don't know why this is.
