I was on the set of a movie or TV show, and I was playing Eugene Sledge, one of the men in HBO's "The Pacific." This was a different production company, and I don't know what the story was. I was inside his house and interacting with his father. They weren't filming, but I was staying in character. I was a little disappointed that the man playing his father wasn't the same man in "The Pacific."

I wanted him to say a line from "The Pacific": "I don't want you to have no spark, no love, no life," but he wouldn't because it wasn't scripted for our show. We walked around the house talking in character. Another person playing Eugene walked in, and I was confused about whether or not I actually was in this show. I walked into the kitchen.

My cousin Linda was in the kitchen. On the counter were some weird cloths that looked like parts of bras. At first I thought they were for nursing since she just had a baby, but she explained that they were sort of like pot holders.

    Best burger at the mall

I was visiting my cousin Ann, and we were in a mall to get a burger. She took me to a place where she had gotten a burger and eaten it at her house. She said it was one of the best burgers in the city. She walked us to a place in the food court that looked like a Johnny Rockets. It was split in two. There was one barlike place, a gap for people to walk to other parts of the food court, and to the right was the larger serving area.

We went to the smaller part. Jim Carrey was working behind the counter. He was training for a movie role. We ordered burgers and sat down at a table. There was a book on the table, and it was written by Ann. I pushed it over to her, and she was happy because she'd left it there the day before. She gave me a handful of sunflower seeds. I put them all in my mouth.

A friend of Ann's walked up to our table and invited us to her table. Ann found an empty seat at the table with about eight other people. I had to take a seat from someone else's table. I asked if it belonged to anyone, and they shook their heads "no." I sat next to a stranger. To my left was the head of the table and a friend of mine from college. We shook hands and talked. Someone else from that college group of friends was at the table too. I didn't know how they got in Ann's group.

I still had the sunflower seeds in my mouth. I was only able to crack open a few before people started talking to me. I awkwardly spit the open shells into my hand, which was gross and didn't relieve the problem of the rest of the seeds. So I walked to a trash can and spit the rest of the seeds in my hand. Then I tossed them.
