I was on a bus traveling cross country. I was looking out the window at melting snow and all the water. There were little streams and waterfalls.

Two preteen girls were looking out window too. We passed under a bridge. One girl says it's a cantilever style. It was an under truss.

I'm enjoying the waterfalls. I see a stream under a pedestrian bridge. I imagine that trail is nice.

We start going up an incline. We're on a bridge. Below us is a big river overflowing its banks and levees. A big wave pushes logs toward the stream we had just seen. This river stretches on as far as the eye can see, and because it's overflowing, it's extraordinarily wide.

We start to descend. The road goes underwater, and we stop. This bridge appears to drop under the normal river; it's not underwater now just because it's flooding. There are other cars down there, and they're stopped at a red light. I'm worried we'll leak, but the bus runs fine. Uncle Mike's there and angry. He yells asking why the bus driver would just plunge into water.

The water was extremely clear. I could see everything like we were above the water, except things were sort of wavy and there was a blue tint to the surroundings. The bus driver turns us around. He drives over the highway median underwater.

Then we're flying in the air toward the bridge we were just on. Uncle Mike tells him to stop on high ground, which would be the highest point on the bridge. Uncle Mike angrily asks the driver if he's stupid.

Hiking through mountains on a trip

I was on a road trip east from Arizona or somewhere out West. I was driving through the mountains east of Albuquerque and stopped at an area where the road was blocked by a chain-link fence. It was a construction area, but there was a set path between fences to get to the other side.

I had to park my car and walk through the area. There were some parts of it that were like a maze, but I eventually found my way. I walked past cliffs and some areas that seemed pretty dangerous, but I made it to the other side.

Somehow I got my car on the other side, even though I hiked through the construction zone. I got in and kept driving east. I don't know where I was going, but I know I was going to meet my mom.

Then I was traveling west again. I must have finished my trip east, though I don't know what happened or what it was for. I got back to the mountains and parked my car to walk through again. I remembered this area, so it wasn't as confusing this time.

I did come to one area that made me nervous. The sun started going down, and I didn't want to be in the construction area at night. I was in a large opening between the fences, but I didn't see any paths out. I saw one area that led somewhere, but it was walled off with a fence. I thought about scaling the fence or cutting through it somehow, but that didn't seem like a good idea. I stood back and looked around and eventually saw that I somehow just missed the path.

I followed it and ended up on the other side and out of the construction area. This time I knew my car was on the other side. I wondered how I got my car before since hiking through the mountains was the only way past them. I considered calling a towing company or a helicopter. I walked around a parking lot looking for someone who might be working at the construction site.

There were some trailers and a few pickups parked in the lot. I saw one person inside a blue pickup, so I walked up to him to ask for help. It was my co-worker Rick. I was surprised to see him. We talked for a bit, and he told me that he was able to get his pickup through the mountains somehow. I asked if he might be able to help me get my car.

    Stop at a cabin

I was on a road trip, though I'm not exactly sure where. I thought I was driving south in eastern Ohio, but during part of my drive there was a large mountain on my right. It sort of looked like Humphreys Peak in Arizona. I pulled into a rest stop that had a log cabin. I wanted a place to sleep, but the cabin was some sort of earn-your-keep thing.

The guy inside the cabin was around my age. He was really into the pioneer bit. He told me I could stay there, but I had to help him put together some sort of steam-powered vehicle. He had it stripped down to the axles and tires. He showed me how to take it apart and put it back together, and he told me that if I got that down, I could earn my stay.

I didn't like that idea, so I left. I went outside and got in my car. Leaving the place was a bit difficult because traffic on the highway was moving slowly. It was difficult for me to find an opening to pull on. I did but had to slow down immediately because of the traffic ahead of me.
