I was in a neighborhood similar to one I walked around yesterday. I had my camera out and was taking pictures of the scene. There were a lot of people in the street and enjoying the shops.
I walked to the end of the street and took pictures outside some kind of Italian store. I stepped inside to see what it was like, and I think I took some pictures in there. I also took pictures of the business next door.
I went back into the street and heard some yelling. The owner of the Italian place was angry that I was taking pictures in the neighborhood. He came outside and followed me. He was in a wheelchair and was wearing a white helmet. I walked down the street and ignored him and kept taking pictures. No one else seemed to notice.
I got to the other end of the street and turned around. The man was in the street and still following me. I tried to lose him, but he spotted me each try. I ran into one store, I hid behind cars and tables. I thought I was in the clear when I hid behind a chair at a table on a patio outside, but he saw my legs or something gave me away.
Then I charged into the middle of the street where he was and yelled at him. I asked what he was afraid of and why he was following me. To get him to stop following, I tipped his wheelchair on its side. Then I ran to his store and exited out the back door. I figured he'd be able to right himself and follow me soon.
There was a sidewalk in the space behind the shops and houses. There were some houses on my left where the shops are, and there were only houses on my right. They all had grass backyards and concrete walks leading to the sidewalk I was on. I walked quickly. About five dogs lived in one yard and charged the fence while I quickly tried to pass it. One black dog jumped over the fence and ran after me. It bit my left forearm and held on. It didn't hurt or draw blood.
I turned left and decided to cut through a yard to get back on the street. When I turned, another dog ran after me, this time on my right. It bit my right hand and held on. I tried to shake it off but wasn't able to. This dog was yellow, but somehow I knew it was 90 percent pit bull.
Additional Comments:
I'm not sure where the wheelchair man or dogs came from, but I did explore a neat little neighborhood of shops yesterday. I took some pictures. No one gave me any trouble, but a woman stared at me for a long time as I parked and got out of my car with my camera.

I was walking around a neighborhood and saw my co-worker Ponch. He was at his house and invited me in. We talked for a little bit, but then he handed me a small vacuum cleaner and asked if I could use it. I started vacuuming his living room. There were dust bunnies and bits of dog or cat food all over the place.
The vacuum was like a regular vacuum, only it was much smaller. I got on my knees to vacuum up the pet food under a shelf. The vacuum didn't work very well, so I had to run it over the same spot a couple of times. A cat watched as I cleaned up the food pellets. Ponch went into another room, and his younger sister came out. She was a teen, I think.
Ponch's mother came into the living room where I was and started saying something to Ponch in Spanish. They left the room and argued a little bit. Then his sister told me that I should probably leave. I set the vacuum down, though it remained on and kept doing a poor job of cleaning. The mother came into the room and sort of pushed me toward the door.
She pushed me out, and I turned around and shook her hand, saying, "You have a lovely home and family." She smiled and closed the door. I walked out the gate and turned right. The neighborhood wasn't familiar to me, but I knew it was somewhere in Austin.
I felt like I was missing some things, but I couldn't remember what they were. I felt my pockets for my wallet and phone, which both were there. But it still felt like I might have left some things at Ponch's house. For some reason, the number 4 comes to mind, like I was missing four things or originally had four things.
Additional Comments:
I only work with Ponch in passing. He's on the features desk, so our shifts barely overlap. I know nothing of his family, his house or neighborhood.
I don't know if 4 signifies anything, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.

I was walking around near the high school in Kayenta. I walked near the baseball field and then back toward the high school. I walked on the paved driveway between the school and baseball field. I got next to the school and walked around it, but then I saw some black kids in the distance. I walked by them, and they followed me.
I got nervous. I thought of ways to get away from them and back to my car. My phone was with my car, and I could call the police. I turned around and walked by them again. They stared at me and smiled really creepy smiles. I walked back near my car, but I didn't want them to see my car. I turned a corner and ran. I ran as fast as I could, and I lengthened my stride.
They couldn't catch up to me, so I went to my car and opened the door. But I was looking in the wrong car. I realized my mistake and ran to my car. I opened the doors and looked for the phone but couldn't find it. I left the front driver's side door open and ran to the baseball field. Those guys were standing near my car, so I figured I should go back and close and lock the doors.
I went back to my car and found my phone inside it. I leaned over in the driver's side door and flipped it open. I tried finding the non-emergency number for the police. I thought I found it, so I called it. The person who picked up just said "hello." I was confused, but I said I needed the police at the high school. Before I could describe where, the guy on the line said, "I'll call the police to Austin High School." I said I had the wrong number and hung up. I tried to find the right police number on my phone, but I couldn't find it.
I closed the door and locked it, and those guys walked up to me. One of them got out his camera phone and tried to take a picture of me. Another put his arm around me, and they laughed at how uncomfortable I was. I started thinking of getting in my car and driving away. I could drive by my house but not stop because they knew what car I drove. I thought I could circle around the neighborhood and drive away and lose them.
Additional Comments:
The people were characters from "The Wire." They were the drug dealers in the show. I finished watching the first season of the show recently.
