A group of friends or co-workers (not entirely sure who) were with me. We were in several vehicles, and we pulled up to a cabin on a beach. We parked and walked along a sidewalk in the grass next to the beach. Ahead of us was the Cedar Point skyline, namely Magnum XL-200's lift hill. A train climbed the lift, but it was twice as long as the real thing. That was strange to me.

Then I realized that Gemini's lift hill was parallel to Magnum's. Since both coasters had trains climbing the lift hills and they lined up, it looked like one long train. Magnum's went down first. There were people climbing Gemini's lift. As it crested the hill, they started jumping in the seats. That made me really nervous and angry. I watched as they scrambled to either hold on tight or somehow get themselves strapped in. I saw one guy sit on his restraint.

As the train went down the drop, the people who jumped in were not restrained properly. Most held on tight with their arms and locked their ankles on the restraints. They lifted out much higher than everyone else, and it made me really scared. Then a man in a light blue shirt fell out near the bottom of the drop. He lifted up higher and fell out as the train started leveling out. He fell to the side of the coaster. I couldn't see him because of the hills of sand and grass between us.

I got out my phone and called 911. Extremely calmly, I said a man at Cedar Point had fallen out of the Gemini roller coaster. The woman got my message and said, "You sure are calm." I said we're supposed to be calm when calling 911. She said, "Adam says your therapy must really have paid off." I understood Adam to be my ex-girlfriend's boyfriend after me. I was angry for a second because I didn't know how he knew me (we'd never really met) and how he knew I had gone to therapy.

Paramedics arrived. We walked toward our cabin and cars. The paramedics pulled the man over a sand hill and were right next to our cabin. He wasn't wearing the blue shirt he had on, so I was a little confused. Since they were right next to me, I grabbed my camera (I'm not sure where it came from. I don't recall having my camera bag with me) and started taking pictures. I couldn't get the exposure right at first, so I just put it on aperture priority and fired off maybe six shots.

The man woke up and gave me a strange look. He seemed annoyed that I was taking pictures, but I was preparing to say we were in a public area and that it was legal. I didn't have to.

We walked to the cabin, which was now a large wooden garage. We walked past it, but I peeked inside to make sure my car was in it. I knew I didn't park in a garage, so I wanted to see if I still had my car. I don't remember if I saw it or not.

Additional Comments:

This wasn't like Cedar Point's beach. It was more like a coastal beach with all the grass and hills.

There's no angle you can get to line up Gemini's and Magnum's lift hills like in the dream.

I've only met my ex's last boyfriend in passing. We were never introduced, and we met when she and I were still dating.

    Riding Magnum

I was getting on Magnum at Cedar Point. It was a chilly autumn day. I was sitting in my favorite seat, the ejector seat. I noticed Wendy, a ride host from Millennium Force, in the station. As we exited the station toward the lift hill, I waved at her and told her it was my last visit.

The top of the lift hill was different. Instead of going straight to the drop, there was a little drop and a straight section before the drop. The top of the lift also was on top of a hill covered in bricks. At the bottom of the drop was a little bunny hop that produced crazy airtime. The second hill was the same, and the third hill banked to the right at the peak.

While riding, I realized that the ride wasn't how it really is. Then I realized that in my dreams, roller coasters I'm familiar with are never the same as they are in real life. I started wondering if I was having a dream. The realization of lucidity woke me up.
