I was with a friend (I don't know exactly who it was), and we were in a futuristic place. It was outdoors, but there were tall walls around us. The walls looked mechanical or metal. Robots would come at us in waves, and we had to shoot them. It was like "Halo 4." We'd shoot flying robots and giant walking robots.

Some robots would get close, and we'd have to melee them, which worked. We stopped advancing and backed up into a grassy opening. Behind us was a body of bright green water. There was an announcement that said we had a limited amount of time to get our feet in a large boat on the water. The consequences of not doing so would mean death.

We crawled to this white, wooden boat. It was like a rowboat except held at least 50 people. It was right next to the edge of the grass, so we were able to get fully inside to be safe. Then a very small woman ran from behind the walls onto the grass field. She was extremely angry. Rather than face her wrath, I jumped in the green water. The wall between the grass and water got higher farther left, so I slowly moved left. I wanted to hold on with just my fingertips and keep my face above water. That way I could hide behind the wall.

The top of the wall felt like foam, so that would make it easier for me to hide my fingers. But the woman saw me, and she also spotted my friend among all the people on the boat. She shouted, "Alexdoria!" so loudly it woke me up.

Additional Comments:

This was my 1,000th dream recorded in this journal!

Shooting robots was similar to "Halo 4," which I've been playing a lot of with my friend.

    Sarge kills the wrong person

Two police officers, a male sergeant and a female officer, were in a van. They were parked in an alley awaiting the signal to take down a criminal. They had his license plate number and tracked him to this spot.

The sergeant looked over his notes and gave the OK. Some other officers jumped out of another van, and the sarge led them to the criminal. The criminal was just a normal-looking man. He didn't have a weapon, and he didn't fight. But the sarge fired his weapon, and the other officers fired at the man, who died.

The sarge got back in the van, and the female in there told him she thinks he got the wrong guy. Her notes showed a license plate with two letters or numbers transposed from the one they tracked. The sarge knew things were wrong and that he was in big trouble. He tried to over it up. He said she could write the correct license plate number on the bottom of a page of his notepad. That way he said he could have missed it.

Then they were in a restaurant to cool their nerves. But the sarge was too rattled. He ordered some pasta, and the waiter came back with a cheese grater and a block of cheese to put on the pasta. The sarge didn't see a cheese grater. He saw a kitten that was crying as the waiter rubbed cheese on it. His partner told him that wasn't real. He knew it, but he was too shaken up because he killed the wrong man.

    Additional Comments:

This is the first dream I've had in a long time where I wasn't in it. It was like I was watching a TV show.

    Alien attacks

I was in a high-rise with Tim Vines, Brittani and my brother. It was night, and the city was being attacked every night by aliens. We had a giant spotlight we'd shine on alien ships to help the military spot them to shoot them down.

The only way we could tell fighting was happening was when we heard explosions and gunfire. There never was an air-raid siren or any warning. We'd hear fighting and go on the balcony and turn on the spotlight. I wanted to take pictures, so I told them to try to steady the light on a ship that wasn't moving.

I went inside to grab my tripod, but one of the legs wasn't stiff. It bent and was wobbly like it was made of rubber hose. I did what I could and went to the balcony with it, but I just couldn't get it to hold my camera.

Then I got scared and went inside. I didn't want the aliens to notice that we were shining a light on them because I feared they would fire a missile at our balcony. I opened the fridge and saw lots of black fish eggs sitting on top of some sushi. Everyone came inside. Brittani said we had forgotten about the food in the fridge and that now it was all bad after our trip. Apparently we'd gone away for the weekend and left sushi in the fridge.

I left the door open and threw out the sushi, but everyone grabbed all the foods and started throwing them away. They were throwing canned goods away (for some reason our canned goods were in the fridge). I tried to stop them and say that only the sushi was uncovered, but they kept throwing everything away.

I went to a different balcony, which felt like it was on the back side (the first balcony was the front). It overlooked an airport. I saw a Boeing 456 land. It was painted in the white and blue paint the jets have before they get an airliner's paint job. There was a sign for Universal Studios nearby. Another jet took off, and it went completely vertical on takeoff. I thought I was tilting my head when I watched it, but I realized that it just took off and went straight up.
