I was on a Navy ship in the ocean. I think it was an aircraft carrier. We were heading away from New York City.

I was in charge of gathering two inflatable life boats in case something bad happened. I gave one to someone and pulled the pin on mine to make it inflate. The person also made his inflate. I mentioned that I was going to give my life boat to Gen. Eisenhower, and someone laughed at me and said that was ridiculous. But I thought it wasn't unusual.

As we left New York, I looked back and saw a huge line of ships coming and going. We weren't in the lanes they were in. One of the ships was short and had a white cabinlike structure at the front. I said that was a Great Lakes freighter. My brother said he didn't believe me because there's no connection from the lakes to the ocean. I said the St. Lawrence Seaway is the link.

I have to interview Herman Cain

I was at a small fair. There were a few rides, but most were shut down. The Ferris wheel looked rusty and unused. There was one operator there, and she had to move to the different rides to operate them.

I had to interview Herman Cain at the fair. I decided that the Ferris wheel would be the best place. The other candidates couldn't be in the same cabin, and we could be pretty isolated from other people. A few of the other candidates were also there, like Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann. The others didn't think a Ferris wheel interview was a good idea, so we went inside a building.

It looked like a warehouse or barn, and it was relatively empty inside. There were rows of small windows near the ceiling. I looked out one and saw the Ferris wheel. We sat down at a long table, and someone started handing out cards. Instead of interviewing, we were all going to play Texas Hold 'em, which I don't know how to play.

We were handed the cards, which had black backs like Uno cards. There were hundreds of them. I kept getting cards with different rules on them. Somehow my stack of cards kept getting higher. Instead of having three or five cards, I had eight or 12. People kept giving me cards, and I wasn't discarding any, even the rules cards.

I didn't think I had anything good, so I folded. But I folded with the cards face up. I realized my mistake and quickly tried to turn them over before the other people could see my hand. It wasn't good, but I didn't want them to see it anyway.
