Today we all have to sleep in the office, there is an experiment handled by some university. We can pick any place, get a pillow and a blanket but must stay there. Me an my collegue choose sleeping in a long elevator. There will be enough oxygen as the elevator will be stopped for night and the doors will remain open. I put the matrace and lay on it. It's hard to concentrate, so I leave the elevator and tell to the collegue we'd better slip away, go to my grandmom's flat (which is close) and come back in the morning.

We enter my grandmom's appartment. This is a deceased grandmom (my mother's mom) and the appartment has been sold long ago but somehow we enter. I see a lot of ancient books on shelves and wonder, who could be living here. Then I see a black woman in a hall, who is going to attack me with a sword. Then I realize, this cannot be true and I'm sleeping. I say: "I'm sleeping. Wake up, wake up". The woman image changes, she rotates and I can only see pieces of her in random order. My sister enters the hall from another room and I say: "I'm sleeping. I have to wake up, have to wake up".

I wake up in the elevator. The experiement is over, it's morning, the sun shines.

Next I suddenly see a white wall in front of my eyes and I'm laying in my bed. I can recognize my bed because I have black linen. I cannot move and understand, this is sleep paralysis and in next minute or two I will be scared and somebody will start strangling me. I can feel a hand on my throat but I realize, this cannot be true, I just have to breath deeply to wake up faster.

    Worms, mice and high school

All town was covered with stinky garbage and looked like taken from cyber-punk movies. I literally felt the smell of the trash and tried to find the way out of neverending rows of dustbins. Thick white worms were eating the trash and I was trying to move slowly not to attract them because I also got the smell. I looked down and saw my legs already covered with thick white worms, which mutated in little mice. I was hitting myself and jumping, trying to remove the mice but they appeared again and again on me, out of no-where.

Then I finally got home, my mom said, I'd been late for school today and it couldn't be the case that tomorrow I'd be late again. I tried to plan my day for tomorrow to go to school but omit the rows of trashbins and suddenly realized... I was sleeping... because I'd already graduated and I remembered, how my diploma looked like.

... and stopped caring about the smell and the mice.

    Additional Comments:

To see a worm in your dream represents weakness, degradation, filth and general negativity. You have a very low opinion of yourself or of someone in your life. The dream may also relate to self-esteem issues or a skewed self image. Alternatively, dreaming of a worm may be a metaphor for someone who is untrustworthy or slick. To dream that the worm is crawling on your body indicates that you feel someone around you is taking advantage of you and feeding off your kind heartedness.

To see a mouse in your dream indicates fear, meekness, insignificance and a lack of assertiveness. You are experiencing feelings of inadequacy and fears that you are not measuring up. The dream may be telling you that you are spending too much time hiding in the shadows of someone else. Alternatively, a mouse symbolizes minor irritations and annoyances. Perhaps you are letting petty problems or insignificant issues eat away at you.

To see piles of garbage in your dream represent rejected or unwanted aspects of yourself.

    Lucid movie-making

This gets interesting. I didn't use any lucid technique this time but got a lucid dream, where I was a movie director and even participated in that movie. Good, old hollywood style mixed with total psychedelia. Interesting...

BETTE DAVIS RAISES A SEQUIN SPANGLED BANNER. I'm in an old train, and there is a party there. I think: "Let's invite Bette Davis to host the party". Bette Davis hosts the party, probably her birthday or award-celebration party. She looks like in Death on the Nile and wears that gorgeous hat. I think: that's boring, let's make it patriotic but provocative (oh, my freaky mind). Bette Davis raises American flag right in that train, but the flag is decorated with sequins. Sequin spangled banner.

DUSTIN HOFFMAN RESCUES DRUG-ADDICTED KATHARINE ROSS AND PAUL NEWMAN SHOOTS THE TRAIN. I think: "Let's see, what is happening in another part of the train. Let it be in 60s". I see Katharine Ross having an LSD-trip, laying on the floor, not able to move but probably happy. I think: good choice of actress, she has generally good image, so some provocation would be nice, but there should be Dustin Hoffman as people are used to them together. Dustin Hoffman runs into the train, grabs Katharine Ross and tries to runs with her. And she's still having a trip. I think: "We need to explain the viewer why he's doing this". Then I see Paul Newman riding a horse and chasing this train. He looks like from Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid but he's an evil character now. He's shooting that train to separate the last vagon, where Katharine Ross is located.

COMMERCIAL BREAK: THE POPE IS VISITING OUR CITY. (How could I forget to mention this when writing about this dream?) "Are you religious, Julie?" "I'm a kind of agnostic". "So, this is something for you. The Pope Benedict XVI is on tour again. Soon in your city. Don't miss the man, who can switch any conversation to "The God exists" with just three phrases. Coming soon".

WHO'S THE FATHER OF ROSEMARY'S BABY? I'm getting bored with this train semi-westen psychedelic movie and the action moves to a general hospital from my childhood. Pregnant Rosemary is visitng a doctor. The doctor is different than that one from the movie (I didn't like him anyway). I think: "I want a happy end". The doctor says that the baby-to-be-born is healthy and everything seems fine. Then, together with Rosemary, we exist the doctor's office and suddenly appear in a registry office. She has a baby in a basket and is going to register him. The lady in the office asks: "And what's the name of a happy father?". Silence. Both are looking at me. My dad appears, saying: "I would recommend Jimmy Page". I'm getting angry as  I finally figured out that Jimmy Page's appearance in my dreams means that my dad wants to teach me how to think. (Nothing personal, he's a great musician, this is just my freaky mind). Then I think, this is time to wake up, and say: "Yeah, whatever, write: Jimmy Page". And Rosemary says: "Good to know, I thought it would be worse".

    Then I wake up.
