I am in a head shop at the same festival as a previous dream. I am looking around for awhile and I get a little cardboard box (like we use in G111 labs). In this box I put a wooden pipe, a ceramic streak plate, and another object. I ask how much this will be and the guy working there replies "two dollars now, and two dollars when you bring the pipe back". I asked why we had to bring it back, and he mumbled something and looked around. I didn't understand him so I asked what? but again he replied too low. I went over to him and he whispered in my ear "So that they know whose it is (or who owns it)." I was considering buying or renting the cheaper wooden pipe since it was only one dollar now and one dollar when returned.

We use streak plates in lab all the time!

There was a man named Bob who I didn't really know. I was trying to help him find work, since he was
unemployed. I suggested a few different options, but he said that he wanted to be a plumber. The job
that he got was to clean out these pipes that were supposed to be connected to a storm drainage
system underneath a retirement home. He used a pipe wrench to open up the area, and we found that
there were piles of human or animal shit, alongside a bunch of old rubber tires. He climbed inside
and was sweeping out the drainage tunnel, and I was trying to run water inside to help him clean it
out. The smell was awful, and I refused to get close to any of the shit. I tried to convince him
that plumbing might not really be the career path that he wanted to take, but he seemed pretty sure
that it was what he wanted to do.

This dream was recorded at 8:29 am. I saw a show the other day that had a bunch of old tires.
