Lucid environment inspection

 I am at a party and run into ML, one of my ex-girlfriends. We end up sneaking off to a room that seemingly is an old downstairs bedroom in Evansville. We fool around and eventually have sex. Things are a little strange physically. The door to the room is open and two people walk by and see us from the hallway. They seem appalled and go into the next room, where everyone seems to be singing some sort of religious song. I feel somewhat embarassed. It is about this time that I somehow realize that it is a dream. I think again (see Lucid dream last week) that it is just the impracticality of the situation. ML disappears and I decide to look at myself in a mirror. I go into the bathroom and gaze in the mirror. At first I look fairly normal, but suddenly one of my eyes emits a bright neon blue color. This scene is very similar to a mirror scene in the movie "Donnie Darko". I am reminded of this and decide to try to turn my reflection into "Frank the Bunny" from DD. I grow the ears and it works for a moment, but then things begin to grow dim. I fear waking up so I quit doing that and go back into the bedroom (Perhaps I nearly woke up from staring at one location?). I decide to examine the vividness and realness of my environment. I look out the window to see a black dream cat walking up the hill by the pool. It looks so real that I understand why we usually mistake this for reality. I have one of several false awakenings and try to call Laurette to tell her about my dream. I also try to record my dream while dreaming. I am outside walking down a sidewalk, still fairly aware that I am dreaming. Laurette is supposedly cooking chicken on a grill nearby. I see a car and again look at my reflection in the tinted window. I flail my arms in the air and watch how the reflection reacts to my motions. It seems a bit lagged.

This dream was recorded at 10:25 am. Earlier in the morning I had woken up at 6:45 and 9:15, both times rousing myself slightly.

    muddy basketball shoes

     I was in the living room in my old Evansville house. Looking out the window, I could see my sister and father in the gazebo. The gazebo was located where my playset really is. Using a magnified mirror, I could view the gazebo and see them inside through the window. After this, I was running around in the woods, but I realized that I was wearing my basketball shoes. I was concerned about getting the shoes dirty, and was upset that they were already somewhat muddy. The shoes appeared to not have any laces on them, but they seemed to fit my feet fairly tight.

    Additional Comments:

    Whenever I wear my basketball shoes to play racquetball, I always try to avoid getting them muddy so I have maximum traction.
