I am in Mexico and it is Halloween. I am in a ghetto-type area and everyone is wearing masks and costumes and lots of people are walking around looking strange. I am a little freaked out because everyone looks bizarre and I am in another country. At one point I am wandering through a hotel and I am walking down a long hallway. I get to a bend or turn in the hallway and they have established a restaurant in the corner of the hallway. It is the kitchen area and it has counters and stoves and equipment and food on both sides of the isle. It is a tight passageway, and there are three cooks in addition opening refrigerators and trying to cook meals as I pass through. I struggle to make it past the chefs and through the kitchen.

Later KKL and I are thinking about moving which room we are renting to a better one in an upstairs location. We go up there to look at the options and all of the rooms have glass walls with blinds.  I see Humb and he makes a comment on the price of rent. He also states that he lives close by. We are strongly considering moving into one of these rooms.

Additional Comments:

glass walls are similar to a classroom that I walk past on campus. Last night was halloween night.

    glow-mask world record attempt

My mother was a teacher, and I am one of her students along with LK and 45 young children. We are on the mound next to her studio and she tells us that she is considering quitting teaching and retiring, but she will keep doing it if we help her break a world record. The record was the largest assembly of people wearing a "glow-mask" (with a light in it). She said that the previous record was 46, and including LK and myself we had 47 people. All we had to do was take a picture of this, but it was chaos trying to organize a good picture with that many kids. I asked my mother if she wanted me to kneel since I was obviously a lot taller and older than the rest of the mask-wearing kids.

    Partly lucid halloween assembly

Date of dream: Thursday, March 09, 2006

In the first part of my dream, I was in Target (where I used to work) and I was walking around looking for a gift for someone. I looked through the stationary department, but found nothing cool.

Later my father and I went to an assembly at USI (University of Southern Indiana). It was the retirement of basketball coach Bruce Pearl or something of the sort. After the assembly, I remember walking out the doors and looking at a picture of a basketball player, possibly in black and white. The player was a tall black man, seemed like Calbert Cheney. His number was 44. After this, we walked down the hall, and I saw a man wearing a mask, but he was wearing it on his shirt, not his face. It must have been close to Halloween, because next several people exiting and entering the assembly hall were in costume. I told my father that I wanted to scare some kid that was there. Outside walking towards our RAV4, there were cop cars in the parking lot. Upon getting in the car, my father was magically gone (I guess we drove seperate). I drove my car to Ryans Place (a small subdivision near where I used to live). By this time it was getting dark. I turned around in someones driveway, but their house was hidden in the woods. I smoked there in my car, and then left for home. I had trouble seeing the road because it was almost dark and there were no lines on the road (being in a subdivision rather than a through road). I nearly ran off the road several times. I flipped the headlight switch on while I was driving since I couldn't see the road, but nothing happened (This should have keyed me off to being in a dream). Since my headlights weren't working, I opened the door and lightly dragged my foot along the road as i drove, so i could feel if i was still on the road or not. I think eventually i managed to drive the short distance home without any headlights.

After that dream ended, I told myself that I needed to write the dream down. I had a false awakening so i was still dreaming, i imagined getting my journal and starting to record the dream. I wrote 6 (june)down for the month, even though it was March in reality. I recorded my dream and eventually realized I was asleep, and woke up for real.

    Additional Comments:

I used to hate stocking stationary when I worked at target, because everything had to be so precise. Hence I find nothing cool.

My father and I used to go watch USI basketball games back when I was a kid and Bruce Pearl was still their head coach.

Once I was driving the Oldsmobile and the headlights kept dimming on them since I blew the alternator, i had to drive home in the dark without lights.
