I was with a few people (CK?) and we were witnessing a hot-air balloon race. It was dark out and we were in a large field. They were launching the balloons one at a time (which didn't seem very fair to me). Some of the balloons would start to go up into the air and then fail. The balloons would then fall back down to the ground and start to bounce, like a big air-filled rubber ball. There were power lines around, and the bouncing hot-air balloons would hit some of them. The longer that the balloons had been bouncing, the drier they became, and the more of a risk that there was that they would electocute you. We had to avoid touching them once they had been bouncing for awhile. The height of the bounces remained consistant, like it was being dribbled by an unseen force instead of just bouncing due to gravity. Some of the balloons managed to successfully launch, and avoid the bouncing fate.

Dream recorded at 6:55 am. Last night I read two news stories, one about a hot air balloon around
the world attempt, and one about an airplane flying into a power line.

I am in downtown Bloomington, near Walnut and 8th street. Somehow I discover that I have the ability
to glide through the air by standing on my toes and riding the currents. I don't have much control
over it, and can only fly so high. I am with some girl, and she is watching my flights. I end up
floating up and landing on the balcony/porch of an old house that is being renovated. I go in the
house and start to walk downstairs in order to let my friend in. There is wet paint everywhere
inside, and everything is painted in different bright colors. As I descend downstairs, I get paint
on my hands. I think I wanted to fly over the stadium, but woke up before I got the chance to.
Additional Comments:
A couple days before, while hiking, I watched a hawk glide around on the currents for several
minutes. My flying was very similar to this. I have considered the idea of renovating an old house.

First for some reason I was flying over a large city at night. I could see tall towers of light in
the middle of the town, and beautiful refections of the lights upon the water around. I was flying
either outside of a plane, or in an open plane, because it was very windy. Below me in the shallow
sea I saw a small wind power plant farm rising out of the water, and saw red lights reflecting off
of the spinning turbines.
After this I was in a house of some sort and going around from room to room trying to win missions.
It was similar to the idea of a video game.

This dream was recorded at 11:35 am. I recently saw a commercial about wind power.
