I am sitting in a car with a couple other people along the side of a major highway. As I watch the traffic drive by, I see P coming towards me in his car. The front drivers-side bumper of my car is sticking out into the road just slightly, and P clips my bumper, causing him to lose control and drive into a field across the road, hitting a fence. As his car swerved across traffic, another car was forced to swerve into the same field to avoid hitting his car. After the accident, the driver of the car got out and started yelling at P. He was apologetic, but the driver told him to save his apologies to explain the fatality that he caused. Apparently, one of the passengers in the other car was very seriously injured. I awoke before any authorities got to the scene.
Additional Comments:
Strangely, I witnessed an accident today, although not as intense as the one in my dream.

I am walking or driving down a highway and notice a car parked in the weeds on the side of the road. Upon closer inspection, I realize that there is a dead man inside of the car.
Additional Comments:
This dream was recalled in a student youth hostel in St.Andrews, Scotland.I awoke feeling overwhelmed. We had just received news that one of our colleagues had a death in her family.

I am staying with a friend at their grandparents house in a guest room. Eventually we leave and I find myself in the back seat of a SUV with my friend next to me. I don't know the two people in the front. The driver is driving very quickly and we are going down long, windy wooded mountain roads at a steep grade. I had the sensation of riding on a roller coaster, as we "flew" down the hills. I was clinging to the handles in the car to ease my fears. We passed through a few mountain mining towns and eventually started heading out of the mountains. A large lake came into view in the distance surrounded by a big city. Someone in the car said the name of the lake and how it was a "filth pit". As we get closer to the lake and the city you could tell that it was pretty well developed. The buildings and structures were modern and asthetically pleasing. As we were nearly at lake level the highway ran parallel to the shore of the lake, and alongside a roller coaster track that was built over the lake. The tracks seemed to follow the highway for quite awhile. We continue to speed along the highway which turns into a causeway when suddenly the road dives into the lake. Our car crashes into the water and starts to sink.
I realize that this scenario is too familiar and bizarre and this must be a dream. I am sinking in the water and I try to change my surroundings or fly away but it isn't working.
Immediately I wake up and I am in the house where I started (the friends grandparents house). I want to record my dream so I frantically look around the room and eventually find a pencil and piece of paper (looked like a ripped envelope) in the drawer of the desk. The grandfather was at the door of our room and wanted in. I told my friend to distract him and I took the paper and pencil into the small bathroom in the room to record my dream. The bathroom had a closet door instead of a real door.
Additional Comments:
The grandparents guest room is a similar arrangement as I had when I went to Florida a year or two ago.
The last dream that I had posted to this site was about crashing a car into water and sinking. I recently read it and decided that I needed to start dreaming again.
