Our neighbors were two kids, a boy and girl, aged maybe 10 and 7, respectively. They were riding
around on four-wheelers on the property right next to us and maybe on our property. The next thing I
knew a man wearing all black came up riding on another four-wheeler. The two neighbor kids starting
chasing him and beating him with wooden boards. They continued this until he slumped over on his
machine. Casie was at the house with me, and we were a little worried to be outside. I remember she
ended up taking a shower toward the end of the dream.
Additional Comments:
In the dream it was like I could see the imaginary property line hilighted through the woods. The
board reference may have been due to the long 2X4 that we used to pack mud around the cement posts
the other day.

I was down in the woods behind my parents house. In the woods there was a small old house. There was
a large black man and his wife who lived in the house. I was watching them as if I wasn't really
there, but just a silent observer. I think the man was beating his wife, and he was frightening.
Suddenly he got up and left the house. Outside it was dusk, and the man said that he had to "Get the
ginsing before it's dark", implying he was going to go pick some from the woods.
Additional Comments:
Before this dream happened, I came across two of our neighbors tresspassing on our property. They
had with them trowels and plastic bags full of some plant. I didn't ask them what it was, but
figured out soon after that they had probably picked Ginsing from our property to sell.
I later turned the theme of this dream into a recorded song.
