This dream has been viewed 429 times.I'm at someone else's house. It's large with quite a bit of yard. My step-mom is there and she's out mowing the lawn while I'm doing something in the house. Suddenly I hear a commotion outside and a woman comes running in to get me because she's fallen with the mower. She's not hurt, but she's mad and blaming me. I tell her I'll take care of it. I'm trying to make pickled green beans (which I'm wanting to do in real life) so in the dream I'm trying to work out how to do this. This keeps reoccurring throughout the dream. A woman is trying to "pick my brain" about a loom problem she's having. She has taken this big loom and set it up in the yard and wants me to look at it and see what's wrong. I see the loom but get distracted by something else and don't get over to talk to her. I have apparently invited a band to come to this "event" and suddenly they arrive. It's the Jimmie Z band and someone introduces me to all the people who have come with the band ... there's six or seven of them and now I must find a place for them to set up because I'm the one who invited them. However, there's another band that will be playing and is already set up at the house. We head out to find a place for Jimmie Z to play and wind up outside a mall on the grass. I'm making arrangements when the loom woman corners me and reminds me that I was going to help her. I tell her if she wants to leave the loom with me, I'll take it home (I look around to see if my husband hears me tell her this) and check it out but I don't really have time right now. Then I go back to the house and the loom and the woman are gone.

This dream has been viewed 552 times. My husband and I were in a strange town. I was checking out an artists' open house that I was taking part in. I had trouble finding the house because there were no markings or signs but finally a little girl told me I was at the place and I went into the basement where the other artists were. There weren't many customers, but it might have been the end of the event. I walked around for awhile looking at things and then Bob came and we left. We were outside and there were people. I noticed these shiny square pieces, like shells along a beach, only they weren't shells. Upon closer examination, they were like pieces of coal and sometimes they were really iridescent. I was trying to find a pretty one to pick up to take back with me. Bob said he'd go do something else and meet me in a little while so I kept looking. I started wandering around the town. I couldn't find Bob anywhere. I went to an open market area and I started asking people if they'd seen him. I asked a wood carver who had a little booth displaying his work and he said he knew Bob as a guy who worked at the newspaper, but he hadn't seen him. Then next guy I talked to also knew Bob and had been looking for him too. He said Bob was supposed to come and do a story on "his men" ... guys who worked for this dude. I said that Bob had mentioned that to me, but I didn't think he was planning to do the story. This guy (X) wanted me to go with him to look for Bob and to show me what he wanted the story done about so we left the market area. We were on a scooter or in a small car because we were moving rather quickly. We went to the edge of town and to the edge of a steep hill that went down to the water. He started to drive his vehicle down the cliff and I bailed out, grabbing on to the rocks at the top of the cliff. My fingers dug into the gravel and I tried clawing and pulling myself back up the hill. All the while I was saying, "I'm afraid of heights, I'm afraid of heights ... I can't go down there!" and he was trying to convince me he could drive us down the steep hill without a problem.
Additional Comments:As I was digging my fingers into the rocks, trying to get back up the hill, I woke from the dream.

This dream has been viewed 374 times. My husband and I were in town shopping on a rainy night. We were in the lobby of a store, waiting to go outside, when I noticed the "umbrella" that the couple ahead of us was carrying. It was square and made from a mesh fabric, more useful in sun than rain. One seam was torn and the fabric was flapping. I commented on it to the people and the man said that the company he worked for sold them and they were only $3. Bob and I laughed as they left the lobby about how useless their umbrella was (although we didn't have one at all). Scene changed to inside, sitting next to a person with a baby and a small child. The baby was very happy, and wanted to jump up and down, so I took ahold of him. He was dressed only in a diaper and the rest of his body was slimy, like he was covered with drool. The little boy with him also wanted attention. Both were smiling and laughing.
Additional Comments:I was at a meeting were one of the members brought her little girl (7 mo. old) and I held her for a few minutes. She was not slimy.
