I'm working with some wires
on a circuit board. It feels like my own hands are getting in my way (precognitive:
today I mounted a couple of power strips to the wall and had a horrible time
doing it -- I banged my thumb with the hammer, I kept dropping the nails, etc.,
etc.).
A butch-appearing lesbian
girl (dream memory is telling me she's a close friend) is tall and in a black,
baggy evening gown. She's in her bare feet.
"Do I look too faggy?"
she asks me.
In real life I would be
offended if someone used that word in conversation with me, even if it was coming
from a lesbian friend -- but I seemed to be in a different mindset in the dream,
and I laugh uproariously with her.
I wake up.

I'm walking on the side of a road. It's in the country and there's quite a bit of snow. The moon is lighting up the
landscape.
I discover that if I angle my steps a little bit upward, I can climb up into the air. I'm not that amazed by this, and don't
even consider that I might be dreaming. I have to pay attention to what I'm doing, though, for I almost walk right
through some high tension wires.
The dream goes on for quite a while. Soon I am doing this kind of "sky climbing" for a government agency, because it's
a cheap and simple way to get a man into outer space. At one point I climb up into the night sky so high, that I can see
the setting sun out on the California horizon...from the east coast.
The dream grows a little fuzzy...then it's like a few months or so later, and I'm asking them to let me "walk" eastwards
over the Atlantic Ocean, all the way to Europe. I take a preliminary trip up to see what going that way will look like, and
am shocked to see that I can see a giant island in the middle of the Atlantic with the lights of a city on it. I wonder if it's
the lost continent of Atlantis.
However, they tell me they've developed a new high-tech device to aid me in my travels. It has an unassuming exterior
and I can hold it in one hand. By thinking numbers in quick succession, I can make myself fly rapidly up and down with
it. I go up to the international space station in orbit around the earth, which is a lot larger than they've led us to believe
on television. There are lushly carpeted hallways, and I fly rapidly through them, using the device.
A man who's my instructor is there. I seem to recognize him as someone I've known for a long time. He's trying out
some experiment that will allow him to pass through the solid material of the floors of the space station. But he screws it
up, and the floor solidifies around him when he's only halfway through it. He sighs and throws up his hands in an
annoyed way.
I laugh at him and go over to talk with him while we wait for someone to get him out.
I wake up and realize this man isn't familiar to me in my waking life.
