I'm at a dorm at the school I've been attending (dream memory) getting ready to move back home. The school is in the Red Cross building in P___, but I don't notice. I'm trying to pack everything up, but I keep thinking of things I'll need for the weekend.
And then I tell myself, DUH, I'm done with school ... I need to pack EVERYTHING up!
This sets me into a tizzy, because my friend, A__, is about to leave -- it's her car that I've been putting my stuff into -- and I don't have time to get everything together. She starts reminding me that we need to leave soon; her son is there, too.
I wake up.

A friend from real life many years ago, M___, who I was never even really that close to, shows up in my dream again (I'm not sure why he's a recurring character -- his personality or character must represent something to me). We're at his campus attending a concert.
As I leave later on with a group of people, a man points gun at us from a glassed in walkway that goes over the street we're on. I try to dial 911, but my cell phone has a rotary dial on it.

But then we have to run, for now he's chasing us down the street. I tell a girl who I don't know that we should cross the street calmly and pretend we're a couple who doesn't know what's going on -- this may get him off our trail.
But he pursues us anyway into a large building. Suddenly I stop in my tracks, and everyone else does, too. They all turn to me with expectation in their expressions.
"This is a dream!" I tell everyone.
"Oh yeah!" they reply in happy unison.
But when I turn to see what happened to the man with the gun, he's right behind me. I immediately lose my lucidity -- and everyone else does, too (who'd have thunk dream characters could be lucid, too?!).
We start trying to get away from him, but I fall into a pile of blankets and he towers over me, getting ready to shoot me.
I regress to what I used to do in my childhood whenever I had a nightmare -- I pray.
It seems to work for a second, for I find myself in a new place, but alas, he's pursuing me again.
I wake up and realize that I have too many blankets on and am sweating profusely. Is that why I had the nightmare?!
I eat a yogurt and go back to sleep with fewer covers.
But I find myself in a new nightmare. I'm driving along a highway, and too late I see an accident scene in the road ahead. Three cars are scattered about, and two people are hanging unconscious out the windows of their cars. A third person has been ejected and is lying on the road. I don't have time to react, and not only does my car strike both of the people hanging out the windows of their car, but runs over the third person lying in the road as well.
I wake up and am relieved it was just a dream, but am puzzled as to why I'm still having nightmares.
I go back to sleep and I'm immediately in another driving dream. It's one of those miserable "remote driving" dreams, though, where I'm in the driver's seat, but the view out the windshield is like a video screen of my car on the road far ahead. I can't really see the movements of it very well and feel like I'm going to get into another accident ... so I let off of the gas pedal completely and slow my speed to a crawl.
(shift) I'm at my old high school from back in 1972 -- but I'm at my present age. A gay coworker from the present day, A____, fixes my thinning hair by putting mousse in it and combing it straight back -- but it's kind of a "Fonzie" look and I'm not sure I like it (IRL, my hair really hasn't started thinning yet, but I'm at the age now where my maternal grandfather started to lose his hair at -- and the gene for hair loss is passed down through one's mother ... so I think this is on my mind now).
Out in the locker area, a girl breaks the lock drawer over mine (they're not real lockers, they're just drawers with locks on them). I can't get mine open now, because the broken parts from hers are blocking the movement of mine (even though things were broken in this part of the dream, I was amazed later on how cohesive this part of the dream was -- the physics of a broken object seemed to be working exactly the same as it would in real life).
I wake up.

I'm in a school
classroom. I'm watching a movie on a TV about aliens taking over.
Suddenly,
one of them comes right through the door into the classroom that I'm in. It
grabs onto someone and takes over her body, and while it doesn't show right
away, I know that she will soon act like one of them -- although I seem to already
have advance knowledge that she won't look like them, but will rather start
transforming into a giant.
I run to another
classroom and try to tell a teacher what's happening. He laughs at me and tells
me that my story is preposterous. Meanwhile, the girl (already larger) and the
now-human-looking alien have followed me and have evil smiles on their faces.
I run from
classroom to classroom, finally giving up on getting anyone to believe me. At
the same time, they are secretly taking over more students' bodies.
Finally, two
very tall students in gym clothes come striding along. They simply announce
that they are now aliens and are going to kill all earthlings. People start
to scream and run while the two guys grow even more, popping out of all their
clothes except for the super-stretch gym shorts they're wearing.
I feel some
kind of transformation going on in my own body, too -- did they already infect
me? I reason that if I fight against them, maybe the infection will make me
into a good alien. So I punch one of the two guys hard in the chest and he goes
flying quite a distance.
Immediately
I feel more of the change occurring inside of me. I'm becoming a good alien.
I wake up.
