There was some kind of office where my boss was, talking a business deal with some other people. The part of the building where they were looked like a restaurant. Someone else there (the "main character" of the dream) knew that in the floor above were a lot of homeless and orphaned children playing with toys and board games. On the roof, right above the children, there was a rocket (the kind that goes to outer space). He had gone to inspect it earlier, and make sure that it wouldn't take off because if it went somewhere far from the children, they'd die.
The floor where the children played was like part of a half-finished building. The entire floor was one room, with no walls and only support columns here and there. The children were scattered here and there in small groups, playing. There were also a few tents for them to sleep in at night.
At some point, the main character realised that someone had activated the countdown for the rocket to take off. He ran upstairs to see if there was any way to stop it but a part of the "restaurant" had no floor and so he had to hang from a ledge on the wall in order to advance. He got to the floor where the children were and found them all in the tents. They shouted at him from the tents that it was OK and they didn't mind dying but there was one boy who was crying that he didn't want to die and the rest were trying to calm him down.
The main character ran toward the stairs to the roof, all the while hearing the crying boy and the voices of the other children telling him not to bother as they didn't mind.
Additional Comments:
The floor where the restaurant was looked kinda like the office where I (and others) work, except that the room was bigger. The door to the kitchen was where the door to my boss' office is in reality.
The floor where children played was like the rest of the floor, which hasn't been walled and furnished yet.
The bit where the main character had to hang from a ledge was probably because of similar parts of a game I've been playing lately (The Legend of Zdisturbingelda: Skyward Sword).
The bit about the children dying if they were far from the rocket was weird... and the bit about almost all of them being fine with it was very disturbing.

I was somewhere in England, walking with two women I know through the internet, both named Leanne. We found a short river in the city where we were, which was a kind of tourist attraction. It was less than a kilometre long and neither began on a mountain nor ended at sea (it might have actually been part of a river, the rest being covered by the asphalt). Although it was summer, some parts of the river were frozen.
The Leannes were walking in the water (apparently it was shallow) but I was wearing the wrong kind of shoe so I had to walk on the frozen parts. Despite that, I wasn't slipping. When we got to the end of the river, we saw that it was not frozen at all there so I had to step off it.
I remembered that the last time I was there the river was completely frozen. I had walked on that same last part of it barefoot on the ice, and the woman had said she was proud of me of doing that.
Additional Comments:
The Leannes are real but the other woman was imaginary. I imagine that the river is imaginary too -at least I've never seen one like that or heard of it.

I was returning home from somewhere, with my mother and a man I don't think I know in reality. We found the door slightly ajar and looked inside. Boxes of my electronic stuff were left here and there and we figured out somebody had robbed the house.
Just as I was wondering if the burglars had left or were still there, I saw one of them, wearing a cyan sweater, coming out of a door holding a box. He saw us but neither was he surprised nor tried to threaten us, he just calmly walked toward the door. I pressed the button on our house alarm that's supposed to call the police, repeatedly. I expected my mother to start screaming but she didn't, we all just looked at him. Then another burglar, in a brown sweater, came out of another door with another box.
They all went out the door and I tried to put my foot in front of the guy in the cyan sweater to trip him but somehow I couldn't. Although his leg "stayed behind" with mine, he kept walking down the stairs with the other one. We stood there for a bit but then I gave chase, running down the stairs. Somehow when going down one floor I was going so fast that although I kept moving I didn't descend, instead I fell straight down when I got to the end of the stairs. The other sets of stairs didn't give me such a problem.
I woke up before I saw the burglars again but all the time I was going down the stairs I could here they were less than a floor ahead of me.
Additional Comments:
I didn't think of it in the dream but even if the burglars opened the boxes, thinking the items would be inside them, there was no reason to move it. Also there was a big bookcase in the living room that doesn't exist in reality and the stairs were in a different position outside the door.
I also didn't think about why the house alarm didn't ring when they opened the door.
