I'm walking down a street in Royal Oak, Michigan to my friend Chris's house who lives in the neighborhood. I can't find my way and try to call him on my cell phone but I only reach his voicemail. I mutter to myself "has his phone off, damn" I finally get to his house and knock on the door, his mom opens the door and says hello and points in the direction where my friend is. The house is full of people. Brothers and sisters that he never told me about. One girl is playing with the light switch and the mom scolds her. I walk up to my friends room door and open it and he is standing there. We say hello and I enter his room. I sit down in a chair and he's in a chair in front of a televison playing a video game without a controller. I guess its a new video game system where you can play it telepathically.

I get out an old Nintendo DS and ask if he knows how to make it work, and he says no. We go out of his room and exit his house and get in his car. We start driving to the mall, but the more we get farther from his house, the more uglier the weather gets. Pretty soon its snowing like crazy. We eventually get to the parking lot, in a white out, but Chris's car gets stuck. We spend a few minutes trying to manuever his car, and get it unstuck but its fruitless. We eventually call his mom, and his parents show up in a large red van with the Mcdonalds logo on the hood.

They tell us they only have enough room for one of us, but then suddenly his brother Dave appears out of nowhere and climbs into the van and the van drives off. Leaving us stranded in a blizzard.

I was on a bus full of people, riding down a road. I saw a sign and it said "Nowhere: ∞ Miles", suddenly the bus stops and the driver yells for everyone to get off. I find myself near a large city. I walk towards the city, but I find a car. I get into the car and start to drive towards the city but the more I drive towards the city, the farther away it seems to get. Soon I am on a highway with other motorists. I see a child riding tricycle that is attached to the side of a car. I yelled at the driver and told her she's an idiot for allowing her child to ride on a highway. She tells me to f*** off, I threaten to call the police, and she scoffs at my threat.

I then find myself back on the road near the bus. Walking instead of driving, I get on the bus and the driver is yelling at me to get off, I notice there are less people in the group and ask where the others are at, the driver tells me she does not know. I get off the bus and start walking on the road. Daylight turns to nightlight, and I come across a wrecked vehicle. I look through the window and see nothing and nobody inside. Its an empty shell, no seats, no steering wheel. Not even a radio or gas and brake pedals.

I walk back the way I came, but I come to an invisble barrier. I cannot proceed. But I look to my left and a farm is there, I travel to the farm and the sky grows dark. The clouds literally come to the ground an its like I'm walking through dark fog. I go inside and head into the cellar, I hear the wind blowing. A lady sees me and yells at me to get out of her house and chases me with a broom, I run outside back into broad daylight and no storm or clouds in sight.

I continue walking down the road, and come across the Nowhere sign again. I see the bus and notice it looks deserted and old. Rusted. Like many years have passed. I get on and nobody is on it, but a skeleton is sitting in the drivers seat. I get off the bus and notice people walking towards me. I turn around and the bus is new again and the driver is standing there. I tell her strange things are happening and we need to go. The people come up behind me and agree. They say that this place of Nowhere is surreal and mysterious and dangerous. The bus driver starts yelling about how she was told not to leave. A person reaches over and chokes her, and tells her to get going. We get on the bus and drive away. I later get off the bus at my house and step inside.

    Additional Comments:

I know, quite a lengthy dream. Seems to have it all, time travel, road rage, exploration, adventure, horror. I think I'll mark it for interpetation.

The dream opened to me walking around in a grocey store looking for someone. While I looked for him, I wandered around stor shelves and checked out what was for sale. Odd trinkets and food I've never seen before. A self lightning birthday cake was among them. I turned the corner and I gasped and I hid back around the way I came. I saw a ghost of a person of my past. This person was with my friend. He was dragging him off towards a freezer.

I went around the other way, and noticed the the sky was dark with black clouds, yet sunlight was dancing on the floor like clouds passing over a sun. I crept up on both, and the man dragging my friend spun around and growled. He grabbed me and told me he's going to drag me to the bridge of dammnation. I tried to fight, but he was too strong. My friend manages to escape as the man is distracted by me. I end up taking a piece of frozen food as we are near the freezer door, smashing it into the man's face causing his head to bust open. I run to the front of the store with my friend.

I hear hideous laughter coming from the back. The self lighting birthday cake lights up with a count down. I see wires emitting from inside and and realize it is no ordinary birthday cake but a bomb. My friend tells me he has no idea how he ended up here, first he was walking down the street and saw what appeared to be his friend Jade motioning for him to come to him, the next thing he knows he blacked out and awoke when I found him. I told him I don't know what has made Jade change morals and personality so quickly, he was a really nice guy before.

As we are talking we manage to defuse the birthday cake bomb. We step outside of the store into a clear sky and moonlight. As we walk out, we see the countdown begin again and the cake exlplodes, the next thing I remember was classic 1950s waltz music playing in me looking at a video game screen and an overvoice saying "Escape the perils and dangers while taking a journey across the Bridge Of Damnation"

    End of line.

    Additional Comments:

I am a horror fan, having horror elements in a dream is good. Did not feel nightmarish at all.
