Short dream that I didn't remember until a real life moment brought it to the surface. I was driving my husbands yellow scion and I was following a lane of traffic and to either side of us there were poles with yellow ribbon so as to "corral" the cars forward and in no other direction. The cars all came to a dead stop and I was told by an unseen person to go ahead and back up and turn the car around and leave since there was no one behind me. I started to do just that but once I put the car into reverse and had it pointing to put it into gear and move forward the car in front of me (a red small car) put theirs into reverse and took off the front of the scion. It was amazing as there was nothing left of the front. The driver got out of the car and started to yell at me and I'm unbelievably angry becuase I was doing what the voice said, which it was apparent they were traffic conductors becuase they were now rushing over. I woke up from the dream becuase I was so upset over the car being hurt.
Additional Comments:
In real life yesterday morning we were traveling in the yellow scion and we were in a double turn lane. We were in the outer turn lane and no car was next to us in the inner turn lane. We started to turn and a small red Honda Fit came zooming up against us on the inside turn lane but they were heading straight as we were turning. I couldn't believe my eyes, and my husband quickly altered his turn to a much wider turn, the fit corrected its course and we some how managed to escape a collision. The fit sped ahead of us and got in front of us. They were heading to the highway like we were and they were obviously in some kind of hurry or maybe embarrassed by their driving skills but they were speeding and moving in and out of traffic. I was so thankful that I said my little safety prayer before we traveled. I don't know how that car missed us. I could have reached out the driver's side and touched it.

I only remember the end section of this dream from this morning. I don’t remember why I was in this house or what trials I had already been through but at this point I was trying to escape and people on the outside were waiting for me. I had made it through most of the house unharmed but as I crawled down into the kitchen I could see down into the next level of the house that a beast of unknown kind guarded the door leading me to the outside. No windows existed in the kitchen so the only way out was past the beast. I felt the beast was demonic in nature but he looked physical enough that I thought I could hurt him if I needed to. The room had blood everywhere and the beast had no fur but was pink with blood oozing out of its pores all over…its eyes were huge and bulging from their sockets and even more interesting the beast could talk. It knew I was in the kitchen and since it was chained to a wall it couldn’t come after me just yet. The chain was long enough that I knew I couldn’t get by it to make it to the door. So I turned around to look for some sort of weapon and as I found two very large butcher knives the beast told me “I guarantee you, you won’t leave here”. I told the beast as I grabbed the knives and turned in his direction, “I guarantee you I will”. As I jumped down from the kitchen level into the room with the beast I realized my one knife in my left hand was facing the wrong direction and as I turned it in my hand without looking the beast had realized what I was doing and tried to lunge at me. I had gotten the knife turned around a lot more quickly than it had attacked and I stuck the knife into its side. I went to swing my hand with the butcher knife on my right side to hit him in the neck but the contact from the first knife made the beast howl with pain, which shook me to my core. I decided at that point to drop the knife in my right hand and run like hell and I was to the door and already on the other side by the time the beast knew what had happened. I could still hear it howling as I ran and kept running past the group of people waiting for me on the outside. They started to run after me. Once I thought I had put enough distance between that awful house and me I stopped and told them my story. One member of the group asked me why I didn’t have salt and holy water with me and another asked why I left the knives. Both were good questions but to the knife one I answered “and bring that beasts blood with me? Are you crazy?”…lol. They all laughed and we had decided that before going on anymore adventures that we should be more prepared.
Additional Comments:
I would have nightmares quite frequently as a kid and my grandmother had told me that if I put a cross in my room and ask God to protect me when I sleep I wouldn't have nightmares. I did that and it worked until I moved out of my bedroom. The nightmares returned even after I placed another cross and prayed that I wouldn't have them. So I decided that I needed to face them and be more hands on with them and as the years have gone by I have truly done just that. I from time to time have some pretty awful ones that really get to me but for the most part ones like the above do not scare me anymore. I feel so confident that I won't be harmed that it doesn't phase me much anymore. I think this dream was telling me about a trial that I've either already encountered and won or one that will be coming up in the days/months/years ahead and since I overcame that trial I think I'll be just fine.

My family and I were in our backyard and a spider I had just captured in my home and released in my yard amazed us. We could all see the spider except my cousin Misty who claimed she could not see it at all. I told her if she stood where I was she could see it as the spider had some unusual coloring (orange bands, black with long legs). She glanced over to where we were all looking and it seemed to me she could really care less. She said she still couldn’t see the spider but as we watched the spider started to grow larger. It started to crawl from where I kindly placed it and it started to crawl in the direction Misty was standing. She was looking the opposite direction not paying any attention. It was like she was in a world of her own and we couldn’t understand why she was not as mystified, horrified and just shocked as we were that this seemly innocent small spider is now the size of a small dog. The spider continued to grow in size with each small movement. The spider was a very slow crawler. By this time the spider is the size of a small dog so I couldn’t quite tell what it was crawling on. We all started backing away except Misty and we were telling her how could she not care about how big this thing is getting and what on earth is going on and that’s when she turned and started towards it..but it was like she couldn’t see it. She was looking past it and she started to go to the area where it was and we were screaming for her to get away and the spider had at some point grown legs with claws at the end and the spider which appeared to be slow had struck at claw out at her with lightning speed and it her in the face and then she had finally really seen the spider. She started to wrestle with the spider and then the dream faded.
Additional Comments:
This dream is not terribly surprising. My cousin often gets bitten by what she feels is often innocent but turns out to not be.
